Wonderful hotel stay in Jasper
My wife and I had a great time in Jasper and the Sawridge Inn did not disappoint. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of Jasper town center, including all of its amazing restaurants, as well as right on a set of beautiful hiking trails. The restaurants within the hotel are great too. All together, we're very glad we chose the Sawridge Inn.

Short walk from hotel
Don't miss dinner at Syrah's, about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. It is very clean, relaxed, and offers the best and most creative dishes we had throughout our visit to the Canadian Rockies. Well worth it!

Jasper was a lovely town, more homey than Banff. The Sawridge very friendly staff, nice room, relatively close to town. Probably could have walked in but we had someone who could walk much. One thing that was odd, swimming pool just off the dinning and lobby area. The chlorine smell hit you right away. There wasn't any bellhop but we preferred to do our own loading and unloading of luggage, had plenty of luggage dollies available. Free parking too. Very nice stay.

Short drive from hotel
Very convenient to drive to all the activities in the area. Every turn you saw a picture perfect sight of the mountains and glaciers. Very perfect mountain experience. Not too crowded eiter and enough shopping to satisfy but not overwhelm. Good restaurants too. Great price too.

Good overnight stop
At the end of the main road, so quiet. Pool closes at 10pm. Should be 11pm in summer. That said, great after a long day in the car.

Dine at Earl's, upstairs on Patricia St. Request a balcony table. Has views, heaters, umbrellas and polar fleece blankets - great for all seasons! Food was good, too.

Good experience
clean room and hotel, free breakfast coffee, nice pillow, 15 or more minutes walk from downtown with 5 years old kid. Everything is very good ! One thing I was surprised in Canada was I could buy alcohol only at liquor store. There is a gas station next to this hotel . they only have soft drink. there is also glossary store for 10min walk . They only have 0.5% non Alcohol beer.

Good hotel, but not worth the price
I chose sawridge inn because of the good reviews on the travel sites, and hence had a kind of high expectation. I stayed for two nights. Here are my thoughts: Pros: - The room was clean - staffs were very kind and friendly Cons: - towels were stinky - the water in the hot tub was dirty - the interior of the hotel in general does not feel so morden and up-to-date, so I think it's ab bit overpriced (so is evereything else in Jasper) Overall, I would recommend this place if you are willing to spend some more money just to stay comfortable at a moderate hotel. But if you are a young couple or backpacker, look for some other place.

Great hotel for the value
Rooms were renovated and quite spacious. Had a beautiful view of the mountains and a small deck to view it all in the morning. Restaurant was decent & the pool/spas were much needed after a long day on the mountain.
