Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

A bus shuttle to Marmot basin comes here so that makes it handy for some family members skiing and some staying in town

Not worth the money

My overall experience feels like living in a dorm, our room was in a basement level, the room is small, very old carpet, it makes bad odor. We had to move to another room because of the odor. The only thing that I like is the bathroom is unexpectedly clean, it's small, but clean.

Just an OK Hotel

The Lobstick Lodge is located in beautiful Jasper Park. The best I can say about the hotel was that is was functional. It provided a central location from which we could see the beautiful countryside and animals located in the park. The beds were OK. Because the hotel has carpet over older wood floors all traffic in the hallway was heard in our room. If there are children on your floor you will hear them.

Shopping tip: Short walk from hotel

Downtown Jasper has some unique shops and various stores for presents to take home.
