Downtown gem!
This hotel was a great value for the money! Located in the heart of downtown, on a cool autumn day I didn't even need to put a jacket on to enjoy shopping in the core, as it's conveniently connected to the pedway system. The room was excellent, large, clean, and quiet. I happened to arrive at a particularly busy time, but the staff expediciously handled all the guests checking in in a timely manner. Recommend!!!

Overnight Stopover
Hotel was nice. Room was clean. It is not a super fancy hotel no concerns about the room. Would stay there again next time.

I wouldn't stay here again
I arrived at the front desk and they didn't have any record of my reservation. [...]. It took me over a half hour to get this straightened out and was a complete pain in the... I then checked in and had no internet access in my room. WIFI is horrible in this hotel (particularly on the 26th floor). I then tried the WIFI in the lobby and it was lousy as well. I literally had to plug my laptop into their business center. Many other guests reported the same issue. When I asked the front desk, they told me to call their service provider and log a service request. Shouldn't this be their responsibility?! Overall, the hotel is in a central location - near the City Centre Mall, Ruths Chris, etc, but you have to pay $24 a day to park and it's not that nice of a hotel. I wouldn't stay here again if I had the option.

The Sutton Place Edmonton was
The Sutton Place Edmonton was a great choice for its proximity to the Edmonton City Centre complex. It's connected via pedway to the complex, which means you don't have to go outside. The room was very comfortable and the staff were helpful. There's no gym in the hotel, but as a hotel guest you get a preferred rate at the gym in the attached complex. Only downside was the walls seemed a little thin - occassionally I could hear other guests in their rooms.
