The metterra hotel on whyte is an upscale boutique hotel located in the heart of funky old strathcona. This area was recently voted one of the top 10 coolest neighbourhoods in canada and shows edmonton at its vibrant best. Guestrooms are designed with the frequent traveler in mind. All feature a working desk adjustable desk chair high speed internet access 32 lcd television cd clock radio and luxurious pillowtop mattress to ensure a restful night s sleep. Wall to wall windows offer impressive views of the river valley and city skyline and open for fresh air. Complimentary wine and cheese tasting - deluxe continental breakfast - daily newspaper - unlimited local calls- high speed internet - 24 hour access to the fitness room and business center. Pub or all our bar, quiet resturant all with in 5-10 walk.

Great Hotel

This was a wonderful experiance, the rooms were so modern and comfortable. I was very impressed with the fitness and swimming pool area being open for 24 hours. Very curtious staff and helpful with directions and things to do in Edmonton. I would recommend this hotel to any one.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Local area pubs and nightclubs were really close by. You could walk there. Lots of choices for places to eat and shopping was very close as well.
