This Howard Johnson Hotel has a 3 1/2 Star Rating from Canada Select. We have 59 Rooms. Easy Access From Major Highways. We are centrally Located To Many Area Attractions. The Largest Mall In The World is 5 Minutes away. Downtown Edmonton is 5 miles from our property. We have an Indoor Swimming Pool and Sauna- Pool Closed Due to renovation . Meeting Room holds up to 150 people. Connecting rooms are available. We offer Free Local Phone Calls, Free Parking, including buses, Free Cable Movies, Free Unlimited Wireless - no Wired High Speed Internet Access. Alberts Family Restaurant is on Premises. The Howard Johnson Hotel Edmonton boasts the Friendliest Staff In Town. -elevator Closed due to renovation- Complimentary 10.00 Food Coupons at our Alberts Restaurant or at our new Chinese Dim Sum restaurant Delicious Delicious Please Note: The pool is closed indefinitely.

dont stay here

Dirtiest place we eever stayed so far

The carpet is not vacuumed daily. No replenishment of basic toiletries like shampoo and bath soap. Can not understnad written english request like two more extra bath towels instead the housekeeping only left us with one bath towels no face or wash towels. The stairs and the corridors are not well lighted and the corridors smelled like an old building. Management has to do something about cleanliness and odor of the inside of the hotel if they wnat more business.

Cheap hotel, got less than money's worth

Room not properly cleaned, cups of water left by previous occupant, elevator broken, poor connectivity, dirty halls, pool out of order... Staff was nice though... Might be the last time I go with hojo (and my expectations were low to start)

The hotel was located in a very dirty area although the hotel itself was ok. The staff were nice. The elevator was out of order and no assitance was rendered with luggage.

a poor reflection of hotel chain

the room was not clean. there were obvious signs of stains on furniture in room, It was freezing outside and while the room had some heat there was no facility for adjustment. Although the proxomoty to transport was good, I am sure that there were others. Will not recommend.

Unbeatable price, perfect location

Very nice room, and friendly staff. Will stay here again on our next trip to the city.

Doesn't agree with what is really there

Upon arriving, I realized that what I was seeing didn't match what was on the internet. The clerk at the counter was very nice when I told him that I didn't feel safe with what I'd seen so far, and could I have the key to the room that I assigned to, so I could decide what I would be doing. After returning back down to the front desk, I waited until a couple signed in, and then I told him that the men in my life would not want me to stay there, when I didn't feel safe, nor was it as it was portrayed on the internet. He was very courteous and professional as he cancelled a 5 night stay.I was glad to leave the area.
