Great Hotel!!
Eventhough this hotel is approximately 30 minutes from the airport, you can get the Sky Shuttle for $18 from the airport and $12 return. Staff were very nice and the room was very clean! Boston Pizza and Papa John's within walking distance plus Albert's restaurant within the hotel.

Good location, bad key cards
The location was right in the heart of downtown Edmonton. Though, for those of you wanting to take a taxi from the airport, it is about a 35 minute drive, but that's true for anything in Edmonton, proper... the airport is just way south of the town. The hotel room itself was pleasant, but the two key cards that we had needed to be "re-charged" or reprogrammed every time we took off... both of the cards acted this way. The front desk staff said the key cards are old and react poorly to other cards in the wallet or cell phones, but I've had plenty of other key cards that never behaved this badly. Other than that, the staff was pleasant, the room clean and comfortable, and it was a short ride to the Jubilee Auditorium (~7 minutes) as well as the West Edmonton Mall (~12 minutes). We rented a car, but the bus stops are very close to the hotel.

If you go to the West Edmonton Mall, check out sale items, but overall, the prices are a tad bit more than elsewhere. The bungee jump was great for my daughter, but we had to watch from outside Water World. That was a bit disappointing.

Days Inn Edmonton Downtown
We were there to visit family. Its a good thing we didn't spend much tine in the room. the walls were thin and the beds were very hard. It was hard to sleep.

Fantastic place
This place was absolutely fantastic. We had a hot tub in our room and many amenities including drinks and snacks. I really enjoyed the heated parking, so I could get into a car which was already warm. The room service was great, specially bed in breakfast.

With a nearly empty hotel, they put me next to a busy street with buzzing lights that kept me awake. You have to pay an extra $10/day for a fridge and $10/day for a microwave. Their normal price was the same that I paid online.. didn't save a thing giong through [...], in fact, had I used AMA membership and just booked directly with them, it would have been cheaper, and I would have gotten air miles which I missed out on with [...]... will never use [...](or any online booking agency) again.

Great little getaway!
All the staff were very friendly, helpful and nice, even when we showed up @ 3am. We didn't get to stay in the hotel a whole lot because we only were in Edmonton for basically 1 full day. I would have loved if the hotel had a pool, for my 3 year old. But we were all so tired, I'm not even sure we would have enjoyed it anyways.
