We spent our New Year evening at this place. The room was very spacious and the staff very helpful and friendly. I think that would have been grate if they would have also provided small fridges in the rooms taking into consideration that there is no meal option provided. The good thing was there were a microwave nearby reception as well as coffee, ice we could use for free.

No front desk service. Old style room key which can be duplicated. it is not safe. Hotel is not worth the money you are charged.

ALSO FOUND OUT THAT [...] BOOKED THROUGH A TRAVEL AGENT IN THE U.K. WE ALSO FOUND OUT THEY FORWARDED OUR VISA NUMBER TO THE HOTEL WHEN IT STATES WE PAY NOTHING TILL WE BOOK IN. DON'T LIKE HAVING OUR VISA NUMBER SHARED WITH THE HOTEL WORKERS.

disappointing
great location and easy to walk into town, but the room was very disappointing. Yes, it did have a mountain view, but blocked by a large tree. The window was small and the room very gloomy. Noise from other rooms was quite disturbing and the staff at reception most unwelcoming. i would recommend Canmore as a great vacation spot (lovely cafes, book shops, museum, hiking etc) but not this hotel

Would do in a crunch
Bed looked like it had been slept in and had a pubic hair on the sheets. I thought I was imagining it until I heard another guest complain about pubic hair and toothpaste all over the sink as they were checking in. Some staff were polite but not overly friendly.
