The Econo Lodge Canmore is surrounded by the Canadian Rockies with spectacular mountain views. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Banff National Park 5 minutes. Calgary one hour. Golf courses 5 minutes. Downhill ski areas 45 minutes. Free continental breakfast. Free wireless high-speed Internet. Summer and winter activities nearby such as hiking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, dog sledding, skating, tobagon rides, ice fishing, snowshoe tracks, and cross country skiing. Pet accommodation: 15.00 CAD/stay per pet. Pet limit: 2 pets per room / up to 60 pounds.

Good value for the location

We were impressed by the fireplace, fridge, microwave, coffee, breakfast, and DVD player above the TV all in a standard room. There was a whirlpool bathtub, great after hiking or skiing but no swimming pool.

great location

The location and view were great. Arrived early and they got our rooms ready quickly. Had booked the room looking forward to the whirlpool- disappointed that it wasn't open on a busy holiday weekend. The ice machine also didn't work until our last day.
