Great rates convenient to downtown Calgary
The Ramada Limited Calgary is very near the city center, just off of Highway 1 at 16th Avenue. A light rail station with direct access to downtown Calgary is across the street, offering a quick and inexpensive way to get to the city. Guests are invited to use the heated indoor pool and hot tub for fun and relaxation. Parking on-site is free and there is truck and bus parking available. High-speed Internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel. Small pets are welcome at the Ramada Limited Calgary, so ask about policies and additional fees.

We had a efficiency unit which would have been great if it had any pots pans or dishes in the kitchen. what is the point of a kitchen without any amenities? It is in need of updating, new pillows would be nice as they were lumpy and bed spreads were dated. Free internet was nice, satelite tv also nice, and the continental breakfast was better then most with waffles and orange juice, fruit, ect. The pool we never went in and the hot tub unfortunately was not working. The staff was very nice, polite, and helpful. Would stay again for business but not for a vacation with my family.

Fairly clean and beds were very comfortable. Hotel staff are friendly. Private entrance. Basically you get what you paid...good value.

Great value, wonderful staff...
This hotel proved to be a great deal - the low price included a continental breakfast which was simple, but very good. The amenities are minimal, though there is a pool and hot tub. I would have preferred if there were window frosting on the glass around the pool because it is quite exposed to the street. The staff at the Ramada Limited were very friendly and extremely helpful!

Nice Stay
I really enjoyed my stay here. I got the value for my money. The room is very clean. The staff is very friendly. Location is perfect, easy to commute to other places in Calgary.

Short walk from hotel
1 minute walk from the local train station. From which we can travel to downtown or most of the places. The fare is 2.75 for 2 hrs and $9 for entire day.

Not bad for the price.
I found the hotel to be reasonable - considering the price of the room. I would return here in the future, if rates remain fair.

false advertising
I understood that this hotel was 5.4km from the airport according to the information on the site..This was a total fantasy and false advertising. I spent $80.00 in cab fare(return) to airport for a 5 hours stay at the hotel..I feel so ripped off by this site--unfortunately, I have also booked 2 trips to Europe on this site and dread what awaits me..

The hotel rooms were not clean - there was dirt on the carpet behind the headboards and under the heating ducts. The heating ducts were open (no covers on them)and extremely dirty inside. gross The ledge beside the sink in the bathroom had not been cleaned - it was very dusty. The continental breakfast had no caffinated coffee and the waffle maker was not working properly. There were not enough food - they ran out of muffins and fruit and milk. The beds were clean as were the towels. the rooms were warm and the TV worked well. We won't stay there again.

We got day passes for the LRT (light rail transit). We walked the very short distance to the LRT and it took us right to the zoo, the science center and downtown (for the Calgary Tower)

worst hotel i've stayed at [...], bar none....first night no hot water , then my fedex package is given to me 24 after delivery !!!!!the desk people keep smiling and are quite personable as you are shoveled [*] !!!!the condition of the rooms was .....clean yet shabby.. holes in walls covered with card board, an alarm clock from a 70's era motel 6
