weekend getaway
The location was perfect for walking to just about anywhere downtown. There is a theatre a block away, banks, and good places t eat all within walking distance (we do recommend Earls....the service and food were fantastic) The restaurant in the hotel was okay, but not outstanding. And the pool is outdoors, so it was inaccessible at this time.

Noisy and Stuff
The heater banged and clanked and I could hear sounds from rooms around me, such as when someone coughed or sneezed and talked. The food in the restaurants lacked a lot. Not a good selection and I could tell it was preprocessed food. Not a lot of restaurants around for variety.

Great location - really comfortable bed
We were there for the Stampede,.. did'nt expect peace and quite and did'nt get it. I'm sure it would be peaceful at other times. Beds were very very comfortable big pillow top with lots of good pillows. The staff was excellent and the entertainment in the bar was exceptional (a country singer brought in for stampede) Ask for a room on the 3rd floor (outdoor) pool deck!

First and Last
This hotel was in much worse condition than I had expected. It was very old and very dirty. The rooms were musky and smelled of old cigarette smoke. They claim to offer wireless internet to all rooms, but the connection is so bad that you might as well not even bother. I was here for business and the internet issue made things very difficult. The ONLY reason I chose to stay instead of rebooking somewhere else was the location of this place and the fact that it'd be impossible to find a room at such a late notice during royal couple/stampede week. I could go on for much longer about the problems with this place, but just take my advice and STAY AWAY.

Nice price, really weak/slow internet
Was told that there were no rooms with hardwired internet and the WiFi was unusable unless you wandered the halls and lobby.

We had a problem with check in.
We had a problem with check in. We had a reservation for 3 nights but had booked with 2 companies. My sister and her 2 boys arrived first and they kept her waiting in the lobby until I got there with the paper work (about 2 hrs). I gave them everything I had on the cell phone but they still left her in the lobby until I got there. When I got there with the paperwork they got us in. I got an explanation of the error they made which I didn"t care about. No I'm sorry.
