Stranded by Hurricane Irene in Calary
Staying at the Hilton Garden Inn at the Calgary Airport was very convenient for our originally booked flights in and out of Calgary, but when our flight home was cancelled due to Hurricane Irene, we had to stay an extra night. The hotel desk clerk could not have been nicer. She told us what to see in Calgary & how to get there. We had a great time touring what we would otherwise have missed if not for her.

Great Hotel
The hotel is very near the Calgary Airport but the rooms are so quiet, we never heard any planes or other noise. When we checked in we thought the hotel was new. We asked the next day and were told it had just been remodeled. The beds are the best I have ever sleep on. The breakfast was wonderful. This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in.

A pleasant experience
We stayed a night at the Hilton before we left for our vacation in Banff and it was a restful and enjoyable experience. The room was well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. The waiters at the restaurant were accommodating and courteous. The pool and the surrounding area was clean though the water was slightly on the colder side. All in all, we found it to be a great precursor to an amazing holiday in Canada.

Close to airport and main highways into
Nice hotel with restaurant/lounge area. Had breakfast every morning there and drinks after the day before heading out to dinner. Room was quiet, standard beds and bathroom. No complaints.

Convenient Airport Location
Our experience was typical of a Hilton Garden Inn. Pretty much standard to other Hilton Garden Inn's. The restaurant in the hotel was convenient....no other restaurants nearby. Very convenient to the airport, the reason we picked this location.

No problem!
We were staying overnight prior to our early morning flight home. Comfortable room, very clean and quiet. Friendly staff. We had a 4:30 am shuttle which was a few minutes early, the hotel already had hot coffee and croissants available.

Clean and friendly staff
The Hilton Garden Inn is close to the airport, but you do not hear the noise of the planes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. the room was clean and roomy. Beds and pillow very comfortable, also good towels. The only minus is it is not near the public transportation, you need to take a cab to the lite rail. There are several walking paths in the area. There food is good and that is a good thing as it is not close to any other eating places.
