Econo Lodge Causeway Bay

Good location with shops and attractions close by. Covered parking is a plus. Room accommodation was adequate but overpriced. Free "Hot Breakfast" wasn't too hot unless you consider toast/oatmeal as "hot." Hotel needs an upgraded makeover.

we were passing through on our way to banff after long flight delays arriving at 9pm.we were made welcome and the room as indeed all rooms had been redecorated to a good standard.The room had its own fridge ,micro cooker and tea making facility.A free breakfast was included in the room price.we have rebooked on our return from banff and would recommend this hotel

I was in Calgary for medical treatment and had stayed at the Causeway before. I find it to be the perfect location as it is close to both the Foothill's hospital and Alberta children's hospital. There is also a major shopping centre just around the corner ,walking path's to the river, pet friendly with a park across the street.The staff have always been friendly and are willing to do what is neccessary to make your stay comfortable.This time around I did have a noisy neighbor,but the staff tended to my complaint quickly and quietly.

We are budget travelers, always search for best deals, and inevitably suffer lower quality sometimes. But this small motel surprised us with its room size, furniture, bathroom quality (including top quality towels), cleanness, location, free in-room wifi, etc., compared to the room rate. It is by a busy street and our room faces the street. But we couldn't hear any noise - another surprise. We left too early in the morning, didn't get to see their breakfast service. If we ever go back to Calgary, no doubt we'll stay in this place again.

Excellent hotel for a short stay. A reasonable breakfast was included for a relatively cheap hotel. Free internet and computer were available

When we checked in there was a problem. We had to go online to get our confirmation #. So it took longer.Woman at front desk was nice.Man at front desk was not very helpful. Ice machine was not working. My husband stubed his toe and I needed ice. He told me to go to the convience store to get ice. I asked him if he could pay for the ice he said no. Outside of the hotel could use some updating. They were painting the halls when we arrived so they are making attempts to keep up the property. Room was fine.

I came from Ontario to Calgary for the first time to visit my sons, my son picked out this hotel because it was close to where he lived, with all the hotels around he couldn't have picked out the best one for me I have been in more expensive hotels that have not been that clean as the causeway, will always stay there whenever I come back for a visit, thankyou very much Lori

Ice machine broken, no glassed in room, only paper cups.

Very friendly and understanding staff!

Arrived late, tired from a long day. Had called ahead for late check-in and without any problems were greeted with friendly reception. Asked for late check-out and got it. Pleasant stay even though it was short.
