Great basic loft There were three queen size beds that were extremely comfy, deer and elk can be seen form your patio. This property needs a bit more attention in the cleaning and dusting department . But other then that go for it Very friendly
staff and fabulous location
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Short drive from hotel
Ate at Family run Swiss Italian restaurant Tisino downtown Banff $ 7 cab ride, Great food and excellent service.
It's out of town (short free bus ride) in a good location, we stayed three nights which were fine, but any longer and it might have been a hard work. the accommodation was clean etc but the bedrooms were very small and NO wardrobe, so the was
nowhere to hang your anything, so we lived out of our cases. apart from that I could not fault it.
Resort was good overall, with the execption of the beds which were awful. We had a loft suite with 3 queen beds total, and all of them had huge divots in them where you sleep and needed to be replaced. It was nearly impossible to get a good
night's sleep on these horrible beds. Otherwise, the location wasn't bad, right outside of Banff. We had a car, so the short drive wasn't bothersome at all. Free bus passes are also provided, but the bus only stops every 40 mins so it wasn't all that convenient considering we could be downtown in 5 mins by car. The wood burning fireplace was a nice touch, and wood was free, which was a surprising touch. The outdoor hot tub was great, with an amazing view, but could get pretty busy at times. Staff was friendly and courteous during our 4 day stay. If not for the beds, this would have easily rated 4 stars.
Hidden ridge was a great place to stay for our group of 7. There was enough space for all of us and the suite was comfortable. There were some stains on the carpet and some cob webs on the ceiling, but over all clean. The staff were awesome and so
accommodating. The even took the time to help light the fireplace. The shuttle to downtown was very convenient. Great view. Will definitely book here again and even considering a family reunion there.
