Nestled in the midst of the breath taking Rocky Mountains is Copperstone Resort a Canmore Hotel near Banff Alberta. Located in a unique area know as Dead Mans Flats and surrounded by the majestic Canadian Rocky Mountains it is an exquisite vacation setting. Each of the 69 guest suites are uniquely designed to provide the utmost in comfort and convenience. Spacious one and two bedroom suites feature full kitchens dining and living areas fireplaces in unit washer/dryer color 48 channel satellite flat panel TVs with DVD player wireless internet and private patios. Suites wrap around an inviting courtyard where guests can enjoy a quiet hot tub or gather around the outdoor fireplace all while taking in spectacular view of the Rocky Mountains.

The outskirts of Banff

I expected to be staying in Canmore, but in reality this hotel is 8 minutes out of Canmore which puts it prettty much in the middle of nowhere. I guess that's why it was a good value for the amount of space. If you want access to Banff without any of the crowds and shopping/dining this is perfect. It worked great for a family with small children. Facility was basically brand new.
