In the fall of 1883, work gangs of the Canadian Pacific Railway quickly pushed the rail line westward through the valley of the Bow River, establishing among others, a small work camp, "Siding 29". In time, Siding 29 unfolded to the town of "Banff", in Canada's first National Park. Situated at 1,384 meters (4,540 feet) above sea level, "Canada's Highest Town" of 7,726 residents is nestled in the heart of Canada's premier wilderness reserve and is world-renowned for its year round activities. Located only three blocks from the bustling downtown area, the BEST WESTERN PLUS Siding 29 Lodge is convenient to shops, restaurants, cultural activities and adventures in the wilderness. Cold Room

The sliding doors leak cold air. It took 36 hours to get the room to a comfortable temperature.

Great Place for budget Banff travel.

Spent a weekend in October there while in the area for business. Nice place, good breakfast, friendly staff. Would stay again. close distances to good places to eat and / "downtown" Banff. Just an amazing area all around. ride the gondola, and see the observatory for sure. I had my own 4x4 vehicle so I accessed some more remote areas and was amazed by the wildlife and scenery.... If your looking for a decent drive take the yellowhead to HWY11, and head to Red Deer... the wild lands ae spell binding!

The Chili's down the street in the Fox I believe had a good atmosphere and the cultural diversity was awesome.

BW in banff

the room, the hotel was ok, the breakfast included was good, were i had problem, is when i ask for some suggestion and the staff is not able to suggest a good suggestion for a restaurant. Banff in november is not the best time to travel. allot of things (trails and attractions) are close du to winter's comming

Nice, clean, quiet, and cheap

The title says it all ... Nice, clean, quiet, and cheap. I was here with friends for a ski trip and we needed a cheap place to stay but comfortable enough to relax us after a night out. The bathroom was nice and clean, the room was huge, and the beds were comfy. The underground parking wasn't that great, kind of crowded and hard to park with a bigger rig, I wouldn't recommend a large SUV.

The Rose & Crown Restaurant & Pub is a short walk down the road. They had good pub food and good East Coast music followed by good sized pitchers of draft.

Quiet comfort.

Beautiful mountain scenery, hiking, and tourist shopping. Breakfast in Hotel excellent, other dinning walking distance from Hotel. Small pool and jacusie clean and OK. A good refuge in bad weather.

朝食付きで、バスタブもあり非常に良かったホテルでした。レンタカーで泊まるには便利な位置にあります。バンフの中心に歩いて行くのも便利でした。ベッドも広くバンフのホテルは高いのですが、コストパフォーマンスは良いと思います。
