Conveniently located in the heart of Siem Reap town, this elegant property is within walking distance to the old market as well as major shopping and restaurant outlets. The hotel is only 10 minutes drive from the magnificent temples of Angkor Wat and 15 minutes from the Siem Reap International

Angkor Bay Inn review
It was O.K. but the A/C in my first room didn't work - they gave me another room and the A/C worked. The bed was too hard. The staff were nice though and they added pads to my mattress.

Sightseeing tip:
Short drive from hotel
Get to boat area that leads to lake about an hour before sunset - that way you'll arrive at the lake and be able to take pics and then see the sunset from the floating town.

Another pleasant stay at the Royal Bay
This was the thrid time we've stayed at the Royal Bay. It's a comfortable 4 star hotel in a quiet but convenient location in Siem Reap. Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and clean. Only 60 rooms so never crowded. Unfortunately on this occasion there was a problem with the pool filtration system so the pool was deep green rather than the nice blue which it had been on previous visits. Apparently the Royal Bay has been bought by a businessman from Phnom Penh who also owns the hotel across the road and rumour has it that he intends to convert the Royal Bay from it's present comfortable colonial style to the same black and grey minimalist fen shui style as the hotel across the road. If true this would be a real shame and we would then look elsewhere for accomodation in Siem Reap. But at present it's a nice place to stay.

Short walk from hotel
Try the Sugar Palm restaurant for dinner. It's about 10 minutes walk or 3 minutes by tuk tuk from the Royal Bay and is one of the best restaurants in Siem Reap.

I enjoyed a relaxing stay at this
I enjoyed a relaxing stay at this resort. Very impress with the room and the the service. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although it's a few block from the main area it's still worth the stay. Would definitely recommend the resort.

The hotel is small and clean with
The hotel is small and clean with nice rooms that look onto the pool. We are a family of 4, kids aged 11 & 13yrs and we had 2 adjoining rooms which was great. A nice quiet location with a 10 minute walk into the main streets of Siem Reap. Tuk Tuks are available just outside the hotel to take you into town, pub street and night market for $2US. The staff are friendly.

The resort is way better than
The resort is way better than we expected. We were surprised to see what a beautiful hotel Day Inn Angkor was. We had a really pleasant stay and will stay again there on our next visit to Cambodia.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage etwas
Sehr schöne Hotelanlage etwas abseits der Bars/Restaurants von Siem Reap. Großzügiges Zimmer und Bad, nett eingerichtet. Schnäppchenpreis. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Leider spricht das Personal nicht gut Englisch (auch nicht an der Rezeption). Ein Problem mit dem Zimmer-Safe mußten wir 3x ansprechen, bis es behoben wurde.
