Apsara Terrace
Situated in the serene gardens and surrounded by traditional Cambodian boundary stones with majestic wooden gates at the entrance, the Apsara Terrace is a must to experience in Cambodia. Enjoy a majestic performance with Cambodian dances and Khmer martial art with a delightful selection of pan-Asian barbeque cuisine. This distinctive Cambodian venue is very versatile - for parties, barbecues and pre-dinner cocktails.
Restaurant Le Grand
Showcases Royal Khmer cuisine and Western fine dining. The ancient Royal Khmer cuisine has been handed down through centuries by the chefs of the Royal Palace. It encompasses the blending of ingredients with intriguing textures, complex aromas and fresh exhilarating flavors, to create a distinct and elegant gastronomical experience. Le Grand can be divided into three private rooms, with a collection of 13th century ceramics and sculptures inspired by the Bayon temple.
Cafe d'Angkor
'Home' to our signature champagne breakfast, the caf is open for lunch and dinner with Asian and continental dishes enticingly created to offer the best of both worlds. Enjoy alfresco dining on the patio overlooking the pool or relax inside with the comfort of air-conditioning. The Performance House
Next to the hotel, The Performance House is home of the celestial Apsara Dancers. In house residents and outside guests gather here to enjoy the majestic Angkorian show and the delightful South East Asian Cuisine. This distinctive Cambodian venue can be utilised in a variety of ways, from private events to group or family dinners.
Elephant Bar
No visit to Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor would be complete without having a cocktail at the famous Elephant Bar - this is Siem Reap's most celebrated bar, full of history and stories.
Signature Cocktail - Airavata
A refreshing cocktail named after a renowned multi-headed elephant. Indra, the King of Gods, ruler of the world and of the universe lived in a palace of gold at the summit of Mount Menu in paradise. He rode a white elephant that often had three heads, known as Airavata. Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor relives the legend and the mystique surrounding the white elephant. A mysterious concoction, offered in a handmade elephant grand tasse, brings you back to the era of Intra and Airavata. This delicious cocktail includes: rum, coconut passion, lime juice, crme de banana and pineapple & coconut juice and is also served in its sister property Raffles Hotel Le Royal.
Poolside Terrace
Surrounded by fragrant Frangipani trees, this is the perfect spot for daytime light meals or cocktail by the pool. The menu also features a selection of Raffles Amrita Spa dishes for the more health conscious. Alternatively our butler can arrange a candlelit dinner* deux by the pool (* cost applies)
The Conservatory
A wonderful colonial atmosphere overlooking the pool and gardens, and is best known for the traditional afternoon tea. Why not enjoy a cocktail or aperitif to the soothing music by our pianist in the evening?

The good

The service is excellent and the piano show in the bar is unbelieveable good. But it seems that someone stole our cash in room, around RMB 800. It just amazing that such kind thing happened in such a hotel.

Fabulous!

Great hotel in the heart of Siem Reap. Best of all, it doesn't have any other buildings built right up against it like some of those other luxury hotels.

First Class Service

The hotel was built in the 1920s and was recently renovated. Expect an older building in a French Colonial style. The service was amazing, and it was the little details that really made our stay memorable. The hotel is an oasis in the middle of Siem Reap. Service was impeccable.

Elegance and colonial charm

The hotel exudes old colonial elegance and charm, with traditional settings and a refined nostalgic feel of early 20th century. The old elevator is iconic of the period, beautifully crafted and fully functional - clearly a centerpiece to the luxurious ambiance. The Cambodia staff is very courteous, friendly, attentive to our needs, and always keen on suggesting things we might want or enjoy. Staff takes great pride in learning and addressing us by our names. We stayed in two connecting state rooms. The rooms are very large with high ceilings. Constant replenishment of clean towels, complementary bottle water was impressive. The bathrooms are large elegant and have antique look and feel. The swimming pool is huge - I believe it's an olympic size pool. There is no outdoor jacuzzi but that's ok since the fitness center has all the amenities - jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The location is ideal, literally minutes from all major venues - market, Angkor entrance, downtown, etc. We were there four days / three nights. We hired a taxi to take us to Angkor and around town. We made sure everyday we'd come back to spend at least two to three hours during the day to enjoy the hotel.
