very nice staff, but Sao Paulo is pricey, especially if you want to stay in a nice and convenient part of town. For the same amount of money you could probably get a hotel with much nicer amenities in the US. I was there for a wedding and the
price was similar to what other guests traveling paid. Bathrooms were a bit small, but overall room size was ok. I could not request a king size bed online (only specify the number of guests) and was originally given a room with two single beds (small). Hotel staff was very friendly and gave me another room with a king size bed.

the place is called EAT, a smaller version of NYC´s Eataly with good food and gourmet supermarket. Across the street there is a big shoe store that the women in our group really liked, it´s called Shoestock.
