IMPORTANT: Children under 18 years old are required to present identification at check-in and must be accompanied by bothparents, guardians, or have permission of the Juvenile Court, in case of travelling with others. In case one of the parents is not traveling with them, they must show his/her parent permission to travel with the person accompanying them.

Paulista was very good
We were in Sao Paulo to attend a trade show. The hotel was very comfortable. Our room was nice - clean and quiet. No complaints. The location is excellent and the area seemed very safe. We were quite concerned about coming to Brazil after all the dire warnings to only go out in groups, etc., etc. That wasn't the case. If you observe the same caution that is required in any major city, ie. stay out of bad areas, etc. you should be fine. The traffic in Sao Paulo is horrendous and really discourages sightseeing that requires a bus or taxi. The lobby is very small and usually crowded.

Good Value, Great Location, Get a SUITE!
Located just beside metro station, and plentiful cabs. Also, just a short walk down the hill to the restaurant / shopping district. The original room was very small, and so we upgraded to a suite that was better. This is NOT a luxury hotel - the price reflects what they offer. Only the front desk staff speak English with any degree of adequacy.
