Fantastic Location
The rooms are small (unless you book the suite) and not so comfortable, however, internet is Free (unusual in Rio, most hotels charge USD 20 per day, location is excellent, close to the beach and to nice bars and restaurants. It can be quite pricy for what it offers however this is the reality in Rio de Janeiro and not particular at this property. Overall, I has a good experience, the staff is very kind and helpful, it's a small hotel, nothing fancy or sophisticate but a good option in Leblon.

Nice hotel and excellent location. Front desk staff very helpfull. Nice breakfast. One block from the beach and half block from main avenue with restos and cafes. Clean. Very comfortable bed. If you have the chance to choose a room, choose a room located in upper floors, street could be little bit noise. Safe neighbourhood.

Very Helpful Staff
This hotel is in Leblon and two blocks from the beach. There are plenty of nice restaurants and shops very close to the hotel. I was especially impressed with all the staff. The front desk is very helpful and is usually staffed by at least one person who is bilingual (English). The cleaning staff did an excellent job in our room each day.

The book system is quite complicate,
The book system is quite complicate, you necer know the best way to do it. This stay was my 5th, however the hotel has not track record and you are treated as the 1st one. The staff and the location are very good.

the location was superb. very safe neighborhood, close to beach, shopping, dining, nightlife. staff was very friendly and helpful. breakfast was great. elevator is tiny. having to pay for wi-fi was a definite negative. overall, would stay again.

it's fairly expensive to dine in the neighborhood where the hotel is located, leblon, so to save a few dollars, take advantage of the free breakfast that the hotel offers from 7am-10am daily. keep in mind, on sundays, there is no access to the internet during specific hours.

Great. Modern Boutique/Business Hotel
Promenade Palladium is an excellent choice. You will save +/- $60 night if you do not mind being 1 block off the beach, but in the heart of Leblon area. Very safe and upscale neighborhood. I like this hotel because it is very modern and only has 6 floors (unlike the 20+ story hotels in front of the beach that are 30+ years old with elevators that can take up to 5 minutes to reach your floor). Spend the extra money and go for a Suite (small by US standards, but still wrth it). The hotel is within short walking distance to the finest Leblon restaurants and bars and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. Perfect for solo travelers, business travelers, and people wanting a little smaller and intimate modern hotel in Rio. Have stayed here twice and will definitely stay here again.

EXCELENT!
What a wonderful hotel! I added a night to my trip in Rio and needed a hotel quick. It turns out this was my favorite hotel of my world trip this year! Great value, one block to the beach, great staff that was so accomodating, they gave me an upgrade to a suite, but even the regular rooms are nice. Ask for a balcony room on the street side. It is right in the heart of Leblon and just a short walk into Ipanema. I am recomending this hotel to all my friends.
