Average hotel. Needs improvement.
Pros: - Nice breakfast. - Location in front of the sea with excelent views - Rate. Cons: - Bad smell in rooms and corridors (mold) - Rooms need a refurbishment. - Beds and pillows aren't that comfortable.

Pretty good
Very clean, and well kept. Voltage there is 220, so be sure to carry/buy a transformer if your appliance uses 110, because the front desk only had one, and it was not available. I stayed for longer than ten days, so the food in the restaurant became the same-old, same-old. Options for room-service worth a try. Good in-house laundry service.

Nice Hotel...
May be the best option in Salvador, decent location, large, comfortable room. Service by entire staff was better than average. Comfortable beds, clean, modern baths and contemporary room decor were all great. No wireless in the rooms, only wired hi speed internet access for a fee.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
Shopping is fairly close and regular shuttles pick you up at the hotel door. Several dining options close by as well, not to mention the great beaches and historical sights. The real discovery is the people.
