Great location, but accommodations were not as listed
Perfect location and could be a wonderful place to stay IF the advertising were correct. The hotel's advertising says "every suite has a kitchen." - not true. Only the deluxe suite has a stove. A kitchen must include a stove, even if only two burners. The advertising also said "every suite has a king bed or two double beds." Again, not true! The hotel has zero rooms with a king bed and zero rooms with two double beds. They have rooms with one double bed and a couch which makes into a double bed. However, the mattress in the couch had springs which punched my adult daughter in the back and she rolled into the middle of the bed when she got inside. The continental breakfast that was included in our rate was fine the first three days we were there. We were given food because there was very limited staff working during those days. They forgot to give us milk, so we used our own milk we had purchased at the store. Two days before we left we asked for more cereal and for milk. It was never given to us. Four of the days we were in Bermuda were holidays - Sunday, Christmas Day; Monday, Boxing Day; and Tuesday, a holiday in lieu of Christmas Day which fell on a Sunday; and Sunday, New Year's Day. The management offered to move us to a deluxe suite with a stove BUT demanded $100/night EXTRA to do so. Since the deluxe room still had only one double bed with a couch that made into a bed, I declined. The advertising should be changed to indicate 1 double bed plus a couch that makes into a bed. The advertising should also be changed to indicate that stoves are included only in the deluxe suites. Bermudians are the friendliest people I have ever met in all my travels around the world. Even the public servants who were working on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Years were friendly. The staff at the hotel was friendly, especially the night watchman. New Year's Eve there were revelers that lasted in the hallways far into the night and early morning. I finally went out into the hall at 1:00 a.m. and shushed them. We had to be up at 4:45 a.m. to make our flight back to the US. No staff appeared to be at the hotel to quiet the other guests. This I do not hold against the hotel.

Bermuda Trip
We arrived to discover a number of inaccuracies in the Orbitz description. First, we checked into a room with a double bed and a fold-out couch. The write-up says two double or a king. Not so! We were told all the rooms were the same. We asked about the Business center, It does not exist. Wireless in rooms OK, but I did not bring a computer because of the promise of a Business Center. Hot water was a problem. We finally asked on the third day what the problem was with hot water. Then the surly desk clerk came in and ran the water for 1-1.5 minutes before it got hot. We know how precious water is on the island, so this is simply unacceptable. Also the shower control was connected wrong so the hot water was where the cold is.

Return to Bermuda
Good for business traveler or tourist confident enough to ride a skooter. Bare bones, off the tourist area and bus routes, but VERY convenient to the ferry route to Hamilton ($5 round trip). Literally waterfront to Hamilton Harbor. Continental breakfast- coffee, tea, juice, toast, skones/muffins, granola, yougart, that's it. Front desk is very helpful and room is cleaned daily.

Take advantage of multiday tickets for the ferry system to get to/from Hamilton to the Dockyard and St. Georges but will need to find alternate transportation to beaches.

A nice simple hotel in a great location
We had a great stay at the Wharf. All of the rooms have decks that are right on the harbour. The room was clean and spacious. It was also very quiet. The hotel is 20 feet from the ferry dock that runs regularly to Hamilton. A 10 minute ferry ride to Hamilton sets you up for all sorts of destinations. A 3 minute walk to the bus terminal gets you on the Route 7 bus to the south beaches or the Route 10 bus to the north shore. You can also jump on the ferry to Dockyard or St. George's. This is a very laid back hotel. It is not your typical Bermuda high priced resort where they try to anticipate your wants and desires. The ladies at the front desk are helpful though and very friendly.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
The Hotel does not have a restaurant, but a fun 10 minute ferry ride lands you on Front street in Hamilton. From there it is a 1 or 2 minute walk to Silk (great Thai food and very good prices for Bermuda), La Trattoria (way better than Portofino's), and Hog Penny (again good prices for good London pub food).

Wharf Executive Suite Hotel
Nice set up, easy assess to the town of Hamilton and Ferry and bus transport that made it easy to get around the island cheaply without a moped (car rentals are not available). This is right on the water and the ferry pulls up right next door. Continental breakfast was nice and it was a quite stay.

Good loction, bad service
I tried reaching the front desk by telephone several times, and did not get an answer. When I was at the hotel, I had to wait until someone arrived at the front desk so that I could get my questions answered. I got the impression that the hotel may be understaffed.
