GREAT LOCATION;TIRED BUILDING

The Elbow Beach Resort is a wonderful spot;best beach in Bermuda. However, the main building is old and in need of updating and remodeling. Our room,#252 had an antiquated bathroom, very small. The shower/bath had dark sludge running out of the tap for a short period of time until it cleared. The water pressure was very low. This is a room that is considered to be a Deluxe ocean view room. The view was nice but the room was located directly above the veranda bar.The music could be heard loudly until the wee hours. The rest of the resort, pool, beach area, resaurants were very nice.We wouls still go back to Elbow Beach but we would definitely not stay in the main building until renovations are completed.

Wonderful Getaway

Elbow Beach hotel has one of the best beaches on the Island. Large bathroom with separate shower and large tub. Comfortable bed and soft linens. The hotel itself could use some upgrading, however the staff was excellent and so weren't the restaurants. We liked the Seahorse Grill so much we ate there a second night. We dined outside high up on the terrace which had the most breathtaking views.....candles and wine....great food and service..... what more could you want!

Elegant and romantic place

This is my second visit to Bermuda so I know the hotel options in this beautiful island. This time my husband and I wanted to try a club environment for a romantic get-away. The hotel turns out to be a bit old, although still elegant. The buildings show some signs of age... small bathroom, not so efficient plumbing etc. However, the ocean view from the room is breathtaking, the room is comfortable, and the private sandy beach, beautiful. The hotel staff are well trained and very pleasant and welcoming. We enjoyed excellent meals at several restaurants inside the compound throughout our stay. However, $48 per person for an OK buffet breakfast is hard to take. I recommend you choose from a la carte breakfast menu. We will definitely return after the hotel goes through a promised/proposed renovation in a year or so.

Great location; great beach

The hotel was nice, but could use some maintenance. The carpets are faded and worn. A/C inconsistent. Bathroom could use a more thorough cleaning. Restaurants have very good menus. Good selection of wines; fresh produce; fresh seafood. Very tasty dishes with good variety. Staff for the most part was excellent- friendly and helpful. Great beach. Nice pool.

Exceptional Staff and Stay

We really loved our stay at Elbow Beach and would certainly return. The staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The customer experience at this facility was wonderful. We stayed in the main building in a junion suite which was great. The bathroom was a little small but we managed. The food and drinks ($11 per when on the beach) are expensive and not worth the money. All drink and food transactions also carry a 17% gratuity.

very family friendly, but staff trainning lacking

The room as very nice with a patio and view of the Ocean. The bathroom was very modern with a deep soaking tub. Hotel provides lots of soft towels, bath salts and body wash. The tub had hair in it from previous guest. The floor in the room was tile, but had some spill stains on it (needed better mopping). The private beach was fabulous! My daughter had a great time with the programmed activities on the beach and at the pool. The hotel was excellent in accomodating guests with respect to the children. They had a kite making class and provided boxes for shipping them home. They provided plastic kites for the children to fly the next day when there was not enough wind to fly their handmade kites. The hotel has at least 5 options for dining. The food was always excellent. everywhere we ate in Bermuda the food as great. Using the public bus system was very convenient from the hotel. Unfortunately, the staff at the hotel seemed to be in training and while I would return to Bermuda, I don't think I would visit this hotel again until management got their act together.

The public transit system was great. If you use public transit however, plan for travel time. The all day bus pass is good for the ferry too. Buy a pass for multiple days. We ended buying one every day and could have saved some money.

Great location & amenities

Elbow Beach put us in an excellent suite with an attached lawn and sea view. Acccess to the beach was easy. The room itself was very well appointed, with sufficient lounging as well as sleeping space. The bathroom and vanity area were new and very well designed. All in all, a highly enjoyable experience.

Lots of Fun even in the Rain

My Wife and I had a great experience at the Elbow Beach Club. Although it was our honeymoon and it rained there were plenty of activities to keep us busy including, tennis, kite sailing, snorkling, sun bathing, spa, etc. The cuisine is top shelf and the people / employees are very accommodating. Overall I would highly recommend this Club.
