Long Weekend

My wife and I had always cruised to Bermuda, 11 previous trips, but decided to fly and stay this trip. The hotel was very comfortable with a great history. There were shows, good music in the evening and a Friday night cookout with live music. The cookout was attended by the hotel guests as well as locals, so it was a great way to meet Bermudians who are always open and welcoming to visitors. The hotel is convenient walking distance to the shopping area and dining area in downtown Hamilton.

Great Time

The hotel was beautiful, clean and a friendly attmusphere. The food in the hotel was a little pricy but again this is bermunda and the cost is up everywhere on the island cause the demand is high and it is hard to get the demanded needed. It's a short walk to the main area for shopping and eating out. Small taxi ride to the beachs or other city sites. All in all I would go back to this hotel in a heart beat and hope to make a trip yearly to the island and this hotel!

The bars along the main road that the hotel is on is a good time. It's right across from where a cruise ship docks.

Suited our needs very well

A nice base from which to visit the island. Not much of a beach vacation (the beaches are not the best here) - so having the Hamilton location allowed for easy sightseeing of the entire island and short walk to lots of excellent restaurants. Staff and housekeeping were flawless, and the pool was perfect to cool off at the end of exhausting days of sightseeing.

Short getaway was great!

We had a wonderful experience. We found the hotel to be exactly what we wanted. We upgraded to the Gold level upon arrival, so got access to the gold lounge including breakfast buffet, afternoon tea and appetizers. The staff were wonderful. Especially Andre. His advice and suggestions made all the difference. The two pols were perfect and the free ferry to the Southampton Fairmont for beach access was convenient. We liked the location, away from the beaches and centrally located. Can't wait to go back for a longer stay.

Beautiful island

Bermuda is just gorgeous! Since the island is very catering to tourists, the hotels in general seem to be very accommodating to guests as well. Fairmount Hamilton is located on Front Street which has a long row of restaurants and bars which is very convenient when you've already tried the hotel restaurants. The rooms are neat and bathroom was on the modern side which is nice. The amenities were great since they had a mini golf area, 2 pools (one fresh water and the other salt water) and a small but functional gym. Overall, it was a good experience. No complaints!

Beautiful Hotel

This hotel is located in Hamilton so you can walk into town easily. If you want to go to their sister hotel you have to take the hotel ferry or a cab. The cab ride is faster but can cost between $20.00 and $25.00. I did travel to the other hotel and thought this one was a nicer. The staff is friendly and helpful and the room was excellent!

Perfect Couples Weekend

We were greeted warmly and treated to an upgrade by the hotel staff. Our room was lovely and we enjoyed breakfast, afternoon tea and other welcome amenities! The views are beautiful all around the hotel, I particularly enjoyed the salt water pool and the lovely fountain and pond surrounded by beautiful sculptures. We intend to return with our family in the future.

In the middle of everything

The Hamilton Princess is an elegant Bermuda institution that provides easy access to not only Hamilton but also the rest of the island. A short walk from both bus stops and the ferry terminal, the hotel has an excellent central location for those visiting Bermuda for the first time. With two pools--fresh and salt water--a beach is barely missed. And if you want those pink sands, guests at the Hamilton Princess have privileges at the Southampton Princess.
