All of Bermuda dining is expensive. Hotel had excellent but expensive bbq. Found some good more economical restaurants in town. La Tratoria, and don't miss Hog Penny, a friendly bar/rest reminiscent of Cheers.

Fantastic getaway

Our recent trip to Bermuda was fantastic! Our first time visiting the island and were pleasantly surprised to see it's beauty. The hotel staff was extraordinary. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The hotel could use a sprucing up in the rooms, however.

World class service and ultimate relaxation

Everything from the gorgeous harbor location to the warm locals makes the Fairmont Hamilton Princess a truly royal stay. Helpful staff (kindly moved our bags into harbor-side rooms after they were unavailable the first night). Few of the exciting amenities: miniature putting course, salt and freshwater pools, and entertaining events every day of the week to unwind at the hotel. Toughest part was leaving back to the rush of real life!! Also, affiliation with the Southampton property made beach access a breeze. Hop on the ferry, rent a scooter (highly recommend), and all you need is your bathing suit. Fairmont will happily provide beach towels with a room key and charge any drinks to your hotel tab. One interesting practice asking me to sign a check for the full amount of breakfast ($30+gratuities) every morning only to be reduced afterward as part of the complimentary plan. Descently tasty, just archaic business practice. Plenty of hotel guests were left wondering about the charges. Luckily everything was fairly accounted for and discounted at checkout. Overall, highly recommend.

Perfect hotel for Bermuda getaway

Loved everything about this hotel. Beautiful room in newer Bermudiana wing. Friendly staff. Ten minute walk to the restaurants and shops on Front Street. Took the ferry/trolley to the beautiful private beach at the Southampton Princess (pleasant 30 minute ferry ride, 10 minute trolley). Plenty of covered lounge chairs, excellent drink/food service, plus beach cafe, sundries shop, and clean restrooms/showers. Lovely protected beach with soft sand and gentle waves. Offshore, huge boulders that the more adventurous climbed and jumped from. Delicious breakfast buffet at Harleys (with omelette station on weekends) and good lunch menu at beach/pool. Room was beautifully appointed with very comfortable bed and Bermuda-themed artwork. Marble bathroom was gorgeous, with smooth pebbles on shower floor, and rain head shower. Two nice pools (the saltwater one by the Bermudiana House was quieter). Meticulous landscaping was the crowning touch of this excellent jewel of a property.

Stately,Historic Hotel in Handy Location

We had a great time in this historic and well kept hotel. Our only criticism was the wait time for our room and the 6:00 a.m. fire alarm and announcement(3x). The ferry ride to the Southhampton Princess is good but used to be more frequent with a bar service.

Completely Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our stay at your facility was fabulous. The harbor view from our room was gorgeous. The employees were friendly and courteous. We stayed in room 768 and our maid [...] who serviced the room refrigerator attended to our needs daily. We loved the beaches and the downtown shops! Wonderful trip!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hamilton Princess. All the buses run out of Hamilton making it very convenient to get wherever we wanted to go for the day. Our hotel room was clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony looking out on the water. The employees were friendly, and the food was good, but not cheap. We enjoyed having the option of both a freshwater and a salt water pool. Can't wait to go back!
