Wanted location with quick access to airplane, and the Sheraton was across the street. It made our departure from Erope so ... much easier and less stressful.

For the best eating experience, take the train from the airport into Brussels and eat there, not at the hotel which only has a pricey, "culinary challenged" restaurant. (Trains leave from every 20 minutes upward.)

Unfriendly staff, long lines at reception, trash not removed from previous guests, dirty carpet, hair in bathtub etc., opened ... and half consumed drinks in the mini-bar.

Extremely convenient in that you can simply walk across the street to the main airport terminal. Also noteworthy is the fact ... that the Brussels airport sits on top of an express rail line that easily takes you to town, or can connect to all rail lines in the country. I arrived in the morning, walked across to the hotel and checked in; then walked back to the terminal, took an elevator to the lower level and hopped on a train that easily connected me (in two stops and in about 20 minutes) to a train running to Brugge. The return trip was equally simple. The following morning, I could just walk across the road again to catch my early flight out. The hotel is standard Sheraton with the usual amenities and is quiet in spite of its proximity to the airport. Highly recommend! p.s. I also enjoyed an excellent meal through in-room dining.

Terrific location to spend the night prior to leaving Brussels so one doesn't have to fight the horrendous morning traffic. ... Easy train into the heart of Brussels for sightseeing, etc.

Great location for the Airport

Don't take a smoking room if you don't like a smelly room. I smoke and nowhere in my house does it smell like that since the ... windows are bolted shut. So we moved and just refrained from smoking in our room. Breakfast buffet is pricy for what you get. Staff was very pleasant and always there for you. Can't beat the easy access for a morning flight.
