The pictures of this hotel are misleading (not a 4 star, maybe a 2-1/2), we thought we were going to be staying in a renovated castle (as pictured). When we walked into the castle we didn't notice anyone and only saw rooms off the lobby with dining tables (it was a restaurant, not the hotel as pictured). We then walked back outside and looked around and saw a smaller single story building about 100 meters away and walked in its direction (It was the hotel). We got our room key and walked to our room. The room was simple yet clean. We left our luggage and processed to visit the city of Brugge (about 15 km away). After the night out we came back around 10 pm. The castle/restaurant was still busy as we walked by. We entered the hotel, it was very quiet, no one was around, we proceeded to walk to our room down the hall to an adjoining hall (the lights were out). Went back to the reception area rang the bell to find someone to turn the lights on… could not find anyone. We ended up using our cell phones to light the way to our room. The breakfast buffet was ok, no hot dishes; breads, cold cuts, cereal, coffee, juice, etc… On the good side, the price was very good, the rooms clean, the location was out was out in the county. Would we stay there again??? NO.
