Tour of 2012
Initial thought was it looked nice. Room was very tired and small. Tiny little single wardrobe with hardly any space to put our luggage. Excellent proximity to the sea. Supposedly had quiet room but were wakened by brewery lorry delivery before 6am then bin lorry arrived. Not a good nights sleep. Cold breakfast very good but hot breakfast cold. Parking very secure at 20 euros per night So all in all a mixed bag.

Good Hotel on a perfect location
This hotel is located in the centre of Ostend close to the shops and restaurants. The Kurhaus is so close by that you can nearly touch it. The "Kusttram" stops directly in front of the hotel, so no need to take the car. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good. We would certainly book it again

Great Location
Great location, just a block or so from the beach. It is very close to the casino. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Breakfast buffet included (good food. Safe deposit boxes near the front desk are available, which can be opened only with a key provided to the guest...these were a big plus. Area seemed pretty safe. Would imagine that during tourist months in the summer the whole area could get quite busy and would probably be much louder, but late March 2010 proved to be quiet for the most part. The town is lovely, and the beach and boardwalk (which is full of restaurants and bars) are not to be missed. Would reccomend. Very nice staff, overall a very good value for the money spent. Ostend is worth the trip although you don't see it hyped up in the travel books that much. Easy 2 hour train ride from Antwerp, it's less than an hour from Brugges or Gent.

Long walk from hotel
You can walk along the boardwalk almost all the way to the hotel from the Train Station, which is a nice way to see Ostend and the coast when you first arrive. Just exit the boardwalk when you get to the Casino, walk down the street and make the first right. The hotel is right in the middle of the block.

Fun friendly place with great staff
Fun town with lots to do. Take the Tram along the beach to see the war bunkers. Walk around the Harbor. Good eats out & fun bars with music.

Ungepflegtes herabgekommenes Hotel zu Monsterpreisen. Eine echte Zumutung. Unbedingt meiden.

Rund um das Hotel, das wurde ich Zentrum nennen, und auch bis zun Strand, kurzer Fußweg. Viele Ristoranten und Einkaufsmöglichkeit vorhanden.Im ganzen ist sehr gut zu bewerten.

A part l'ascenceur qui fait un
A part l'ascenceur qui fait un peu peur( impression de descendre avant de monté) et qu'il faut faire attention car son arret est quelques centimetres en dessous de son point d'arrêt, à part cela rien à dire j'y retournerais

accueil passable, de plus aucune
accueil passable, de plus aucune inscription en français, même pour l'évacuation incendie, je sais que les flammands n'aiment pas les wallons, mais les français alors!! la chambre pas très propre et la salle de bains très moyenne baignoire abîmée, poubelle rouillée et sans sac plastique fauteuil sale, chambre très petite, etc..
