Business Meeting

Booked this hotel based on proximity to a business meeting - it was one of 3 recommended hotels based on location and amenities. The area itself is actually pretty seedy although very convenient to the train station. Would not recommend as a tourist hotel - the atmosphere is high rise downtown feel. Amenities were good, internet at the "business level" lounge along with free breakfast, and decent exercise facility.

Unbeatable location and good service

The location is fantastic specially because it is a few minutes away of the North Station so it is easy to transpor within cities. Main attraction are at walking distance as well.

Great Stay!

The rooms were spacious and clean. The shower was nice and looked like it was recently remodeled. The hotel is close (5-10 min walk) to the North train station and close to a metro stop. We easily could have walked to Grand Place, however, since the metro was so close and reasonable in price, we took the metro. You could only get interent in the lobby without a fee. There were a handful of computers for use by people staying at the hotel, however, these were usually taken by people browsing facebook for hours and it was difficult to find one open during normal hours. This was a great stay for a great price!

Watch the meter in taxis. Make sure they reset it when you start and that the driver uses the correct rate.

Very nice and convenient

Friendly, helpful staff. Room was clean and comfortable and well set up for the business traveler. Internet in the room was expensive - 38 Euros for 24 hour all inclusive package of internet and movies on demand, 15-10 Euros for all day internet depending on speed, and only 30 minutes a day for free. Internet in the lobby is free, but that's not convenient for the business traveler.

This was a really ice hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The only comment I would make to improve the rooms would be to have coffe/tea making facilities in the room.

Hotel with great location

The hotel location was great. We were able to walk to all major attractions in Brussels, and were only steps away from the Grand Place, which has beautiful buildings, great entertainment, a large variety of restaurants, and many shops. The hotel staff was able to help us with recommendations, driving and walking directions, and instructions on using the train.

This hotel is walking distance to almost all attractions in Brussels, but taking the train saves a lot of time. Don't be intimidated by being a first-time train user. Ask the hotel concierge for instructions on taking the train to nearby destinations.
