NH Atlanta Hotel Brussels

The hotel is located in a perfect part of Brussels. Very close to the Grand Place and. Wonderful restaurants and shopping. The staff in the evening was very nice and extremely friendly and helpful. . they solved the problem as quickly as possible. My only major complaint was that when we arrived from the States early in the morning after an 8hr. Flight we tried to check in early so that we could rest before beginning to tour. We were told that our room was ready but if we wanted to check in before 2:p.m. We could but we would have to pay 10 Euros per hour.Ridiculous.

The hotel was perfectly located in regard to the Central Square. Easily walked to great restaurants and historical buildings. Room was large and very European. Nothing special in decor but very comfortable. Evening staff was very helpful and friendly. Day staff at the front desk was cold and unwelcoming. They were accomodating, but not very warm or friendly. If you are taking an evening flight from the states and get to Brussels early morning like we did, be prepared to just leave your luggage with them. We landed in Brussels at 8:00 a.m. and arrived at the hotel at 9:30 a.m. after an 8 hour flight from Philly. We asked if we could check in early since we had been travelling for many hours and were tired. They were quick to say that the room was ready but if we wanted to check in before the 2 p.m. check-in time, we could pay 10 euros per hour for the use of the room. That would have been an extra 60 euros! We passed on the ridiculous offer, left our bags with them and went out touring even though we were exhausted! Hotel was located in a great part of Brussels, but the hotel was NOT very accommodating to their patrons.

Spent one night at this hotel and loved it. The room was very big and the bathroom was even bigger! Would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap place to stay.

I was in Brussels for a quick vacation and found this hotel to be in the perfect location. The room was spacious for European standards. The linens were clean and the hotel was quiet in the evening. The hotel staff wasn't the most helpful in finding places to eat or to hang out, but I didn't pick the hotel for the staff. If you want a clean comfortable room within walking distance of a majority of the attractions in Brussels this is the place for you.

Nice hotel in the center of Brussels close to the major sightseens like Grand Place or Manneken Pis. Clean and bright room, with beautiful furniture and high sealing. Even an iron board is located in a separate built-in closet with ornamental flowers on its door. Our junior suite was large with a separate sitting area and two doors to the large balcony (however, the balcony itself is shared with other rooms and has no privacy). Bed sheets were good, soft and clean. Receptionists speak good English. The bar downstairs is beautifully designed and serves good beer. These are the pros. Cons: 1) There was just one cup, one glass, one spoon in the room. Nobody at check-in asked us if we needed additional stuff for the morning coffee. 2) The bathroom design (faucets, sink, floor, etc..) was absolutely boring for a 4-star hotel. I'd say it Needs That Special Something. Also, one of the towels was torn right in the middle. Ugh! 3) The bathroom door is next to the bed. And it has matte glass in it. So if there is a couple staying in the suite, one will be awake if the other one is using the bathroom at night. 4) Although we requested a non-smoking room, there was an ash-tray and matches in the room which means people can smoke there. The room was sanitized - no smell in the open area at all, however, I felt the smell between the curtains and the balcony door. Looks like they didn't sanitize it enough. 5) Two TVs in the room were old and small. We expected at least one flat screen in a 4-star hotel. Despite these cons, I still recommend this hotel to everyone.

The location is just fantastic: short distance to some of the best restaurants, close enough to all the tourist attractions (if you are so inclined), walk to the train station (if planning a day trip to Gent or Bruges), or just enjoy a great Leffe (one of the 200 beer brands) next door at the Metropole terrace. The rooms are nicely appointed, but poorly maintained - if you are picky about traces of mold on the bathroom tiles look elsewhere.

It right in the centre, very close to all major attractions like the Gran Place. It is in a clean and quiet area. I would recommend this hotel.

I try to stay here on my fairly frequent visits to Brussels.I find its centrally located,quiet with easy access to everything.The rooms are very comfortable,clean.The staff are courteous but not in your face.Breakfast on Floor 9 is always a great experience...everything is fresh...the Atlanta ,for me,is relaxation personified.

Overall, hotel was very nice. The room was very clean and large.
