Historic yet modern hotel in the center of Brussels
The Eurostars Grand Place Hotel, set in a 19th century, neo-classical style building with a handsome façade, offers guests close proximity to the famous Grand Place and the historical city center UNESCO World Heritage Site. They have free wifi, are centrally located, and I paid $75 USD per night, which was way cheaper than any other hotel of faaar less quality anywhere near by. The staff was helpful and the beds/bathrooms were decent. The room was clean... I stayed there on two different trips

Not a 4 star hotel
I think this was mis-listed as a 4 star hotel. Probably more of a two. Non-functioning toilet. Non-cotton sheets. Room was big, but not well laid out. Interior rooms are extreemely noisy in the morning as the sounds of dishes clattering in the breakfast area carry up through the atrium. Management in general does not do a good job of controlling noise in the area.

great value and location
The location is fantastic and the hotel was very nice for the price. The two complaints I have are the extra-firm mattresses were less than inviting, and the guy at the front desk was pretty much a total jerk. Get past those two things, and Eurostars is a very good value.

Slightly misleading name
Situated in a pretty rough area, a few streets away from Grande Place. Didn't feel comfortable going outside after dark as lots of homeless people wandering around. Small room with incredibly uncomfortable bed. Didn't sleep at all. Bathroom door didn't shut properly. Quite a long way from the nearest train station. Free wireless internet access was included and the staff were reasonably friendly. Didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that.

Eurostars Grand Place
Very cold faced staff at the reception, no fire alarm system, poor tv satelite system, two remote controls for tv and satelite system, both remote battey cover broken, and baterries are taped and fixed. Even no shelves in the bathroom, towels are at the edge of the bath tube, unbelievable. Very small room, A/C unit is not sufficient for cooling. Too small room, just plain wood floor even no small carpet. I have the pictures of all these bad views.

Nice and straight-forward hotel
Nice and straight-forward hotel at the centre of town. Some noice from the bouleward. Wonderful still to be able to get a smoking room!

To put it short
The location of the hotel is the best reason to choose this one. Stuff is unfriendly and for some reason they had lost our reservation...The worst thing are the beds. I´ve never slept in so freaking hard and uncomfortable bed in my life! But if you´re thinking of concentrating on Belgium beer and night life, I guess you can still have a nice vacation:)
