De Fierlant Hotel Brussels

I arrive late the day of the reservation for inconveniences in the road, what can I said, the worst service in the worst neighborhood of Brussels. Expensive, not clean, the personal at night don't know anything in order to help us, in general, the worst hotel experience so far in our trips. Please, dont even consider this hotel in Brussels, istead, at that moment in the middle of the night I move to a place called The Hotel that save my night, in the center of the city of Brussels, 4 star hotel at the same price than Fierland Hotel (less than 1 star). Take the advise or pay the consecuenses, have a nice trip.

Hotel De Fierlant was a great choice. It seemed that other hotels in Brussels were too expensive during my time there so I had to look for a better value. I needed something reasonably nice however as I was traveling with a business colleague. The Hotel was not the Ritz but it was nice, reasonably well located, reasonably clean, had a very good breakfast and excellent staff. The staff at this hotel were always helpful, happy and friendly which can be rare at even very expensive hotels. My business associate could see that I was frugal and careful in my choice but not cheap.

It is 9:30 at night and there are people yelling out of a car to someone across the street on the third floor (for the past 20 minutes!!! Get out of your friggin car!) and some hydraulic lift, lifting furniture to the 4 floor is running outside of my window. This is noisier than New York for Christs sake! The neighborhood has NO parking, and I am not sure I would trust leaving things in my car. The employees have been very friendly, the place is clean, but the noise.......ugh. Something I got a kick out of..... room 28 is on the 3rd floor.

The receptionist was very helpful in providing information for sightseeing in Brussels. The hotel is about 15 minutes walking from the Brussels Midi train station.

Really friendly and helpful staff. clean rooms and acceptable WiFi. The location is not for those who want a town center hotel, but it is good enough with access to everywhere you are likely to want to go. It has good access to the gare du midi and the transport network. There is no restaurant, but a couple of local places to eat and a delivery service suffice if you need food. If I was going back I'd stay here again, just for the friendly service

hotel is a bit away from the center of Brussels and is 10 to 15 min walking from the Midi train terminal. pleasant staff and good breakfast.

Great hotel, very helpful and friendly staff, went out of their way to assist. Arrived at 11am, check-in is usually not until 2pm but they put us into our room at 11am as it was ready. Clean, with a bath! Breakfast excellent. Not too far from the centre of Brussels. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 3 nights. Lovely hotel, warm and modern, very friendly and helpful staff. Though i was apprehenseive upon reading that the hotel is in a residential area, this didn't present any problems and access to the city center is very easy! We both thoroughly enjoyed our trip! The breakfast buffet is perfect, fresh and plentiful, lovely fresh pastries and breads every morning, cereals, fruits and much more. Though we didn't need or want it there are scrambled eggs and omlettes available on request. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Brussels!

Pleasant renovated hotel with basic facilities within 15 mins walking distance of Gare du Midi( Eurostar terminal). No evening meal but good recommendations to local basic restaurants. Seems to be on the edge of or just inside the local Arab quarter.

Had a 3-day business trip to Brussels - needed a clean, economical place to sleep with a free breakfast and an Internet connection for my laptop - the De Fierlant delivered. Friendly staff, simple clean and modern rooms, with breakfast and wi-fi included, all at a great rate = great value for Brussels. Biggest drawbacks were the distance (about 1k) from the Gare du Sud train/subway station, and the location in a working class urban residential neighbourhod, which might be less than ideal from some women travellers.
