Super hotel & location. Gave us free drinks when we arrived [...]...It would be nice to have a coffee maker in the room. Parking fee of 30euros is a bit too much. Parked a block down the street for 8.70/24 hours.

How the other half lives
Very upscale and modern as one would expect from a Kempinski property. Surprised at the add-on cost for wifi and some TV services. Very modern bathroom (despite the leaking glass designer shower). Terrific turndown and room cleanup service. Excellent service and cuisine in the Manuscript Restaurant for brunch and dinner, pricey but consistent.

Le Bon Vivant; great bistro bar with friendly character of a proprietor-chef. Choco-story Chocolate Museum has the most exquisite pralines that they share after the cooking demonstration! Good Rick Steves' book walk.

like a dream
I was totally relaxed and at ease..hotel felt like a chateaux....service was impeccable and the concierge were so knowledgeable and courteous. It is too far to walk from the train station. Taxi to train station was 10 euro including tip (8.50E) but going to hotel was more...the driver charged 2.50 E for luggage and kept the change. Den Huzaar, a bistro at Markt Square, is very innovative in the food and plating.....excellent recommendation from the front desk..

Best hotel in Brugge!
The Kempinski Hotel in Brugge was wonderful! The location is superb, right near the center and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Since the hotel was recently renovated, everything is new and the rooms are modern and updated. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Brugge!

We loved it!!!
Staying at this hotel was the highlight of our trip. We stayed at some hotels from the Relais et Chateaux chain and this hotel was a step above those. Perfection in every way.
