A lovely, old, traditional hotel, formerly part of a brewery and family home it still retains a "homely" atmosphere with warm and friendly staff. (03/08CG) A traditional building, parts of which date back to the 14th century. A building in keeping with the rest of of the old town centre. The hotel is centrally located, just behind the T'Zand square in a quiet area of Brugge along the Speelmansei canal.

As one might imagine from a building dating back to the 14th century the rooms vary in size but are mostly medium to large. They vary in decor but are very charming and traditional in their style but all are in a good condition.

tired old lady of a place.

This hotel is a tired old lady in a good location with a pleasant staff. It has been years since a paint brush or carpet cleaner was used there. Not a four star by any means!

The hotel is conveniently located

The hotel is conveniently located as it is only minutes away from the town city and place of interest. The rooms are quite spacious with good facility provision including coffee maker, which doesn't seem very common in hotels of this price range in continental Europe. Services of the hotel are good, friendly and helpful.
