Location is good - walkable from the central station and to the centre of town Bed was amazing - huge and comfortable. Room not too hot. Staff friendly. Free mini-bar a huge plus. But it would have been nice to have been able to make tea/coffee in
our room instead of having to go down 3 floors to reception and find a machine. Wifi was slow and unreliable. Soundproofing between rooms not good - could hear people walking above us and being very amorous next to us. Perhaps because of this the volume on the television was capped at a very low level and we could barely hear it. I realise these are all very first world problems and a bit petty but they were also a bit annoying.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
All museums are free on the last Wednesday of the month.
Too far away from city centre and the room we were given was a double and not a twin. Room too warm and the window didn't open we had to get it unlocked to let air into it.
The minibar claim is a joke, in the double room there was 1 beer,1 orange
fizzy drink and 4 small bottles of water
Didn't take breakfast as when we looked what you got was not worth 15 euro's.
