The Century Hotel has the honor of being the oldest hotel in Antwerp. Fully renovated in 2009 to the highest standards without interfering with the almost historical elements of the hotel building, the Century Hotel offers modern, comfortable rooms with bath and/or shower, flat screen TV and full WIFI to meet todays travellers need. The front side rooms offers splendid views of the many diamond shops and the impressive Art Nouveau Central Railway Station. The hotel categorizes as a true budget hotel as it meets all higher standard requirements, boasting a 24 hours reception service, banqueting/seminar rooms and full buffet breakfast in the morning. During the evening the bar serves a variety of delightful cocktails, special Belgian beers and thirst quenching beverages. It is the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy the hotel ambience. Ideally located in the centre of Antwerp, the hotel is the best choice for guests looking to stay in the city at an attractive rate. The Curnonsky Restaurant's popular menu reflects a fusion of natures best influences, served in a classic and grand hotel style environment. Our restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy some local specialities with a glass of your favourite Sauvignon Blanc or Rosé.

Avoid this hotel

I came to Antwerp to attend a conference and decided on the Century Hotel because it seemed the right balance of price and convenience (Central and close to Conference venue). The room was long and tiny more like a hall way but relatively clean. Very cheap TV. You had to stand right in front of it to watch otherwise the picture was blurred. I spend two horrible nights being woken up by partying Dutch/Belgium teenagers till 3-4am. The desk clerk promised to help but did nothing. The next morning another clerk send me first to the closed rental car place in the train station and then asked me for the number for a rental car agency. Very unfriendly also at the beginning when I arrived shortly before checking time at 2PM. Just pointing annoyed to the clock on the wall and did not have the courtesy to at least check if my room was already ready. An all around unpleasant hotel experience in beautiful Antwerp. I surely will be back but never in this hotel again. Not sure how they can give this place 3 stars. The breakfast was the bare minimum and with long lines because there was only a small buffet station.

Good for weekend

This hotel is good for short term trips when the placement near the rail station is important.

Convenient location

We chose this hotel because it is so close to the train station and we were not disappointed. The hotel is very basic but super clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. This is not the hotel to spend time in but it was a good base for us to travel to nearby Brugge and Brussels and then take a direct train to Paris.

century hotel Antwerp

Hotel was very clean and easy to find. Exit out Antwerp Central Station on the left side as you are heading to the front of the station and the hotel is right across the street about 30 yards down from the door. The staff was very nice and accommodating, Room was clean. My room was a little small but that was expected as most europe hotels are. There was about a 1 foot gap between the end of the bed and the wall. Breakfasts included consisted of cold cut and sliced cheese, cucumber, tomatoes, cereal, and juices. Hotel location was perfect for me as i was looking to do day train trips a couple of the days i was there. It was about a 20 minute walk to the old town. Buses and Metro are right there as well if you don't want to walk it. I would stay there again CS

Great location by the train station.

If you travel into Antwerp by train and want a hotel close to the train station, this location is difficult to beat. Exit the side of the station, walk across the street and and into the hotel's lobby. The accommodations were average, but the staff was polite. The price is hard to beat in Antwerp, too!

Century Hotel, Antwerp

The hotel clerk when I arrived was very friendly, and at least trilingual. The room was small, but it was clean. The mattress was too soft for my taste. The bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was boring, and a real disappointment after stays at other places with breakfast. No fruit, one kind of cheese, unappetizing breakfast meats, weak coffee.
