My boyfriend and I went to Barbados for a short weekend. We went mainly for the beaches and snorkeling. The hotel is a great value for what it is. It is: Clean, quiet, comfortable. It isn't: A place to have a good meal. A place to have a good drink. Right in the middle of everything. If you're looking to make your own vacation. Its great. If you're looking to hang near the hotel - look elsewhere. If you're sharing beds..you may want to inquire. Our unit had two beds pushed together. Easy to "fall into the crack". Not good.

Cheap but everything required close by
There was a lot of children in the hotel but no play area or activities for them to play on especially when it rained. Even the pool table was for over 12s. The transport to the town/beach was not regular and maybe a few more addition times would be helpful. There was no evening entertainment and the bar which had a happy hour had very few visitors because there was no atmosphere. There was no microwave in the kitchen or DVD player in lounge. However the hotel although dated was good value for money with very spacious rooms and communial gardens. The staff were very helpful and polite and always had a smile on there face

Nicer than we expected!
Certainly not plush and modern but for the price you can't beat it. It's clean and spacious. No coffee pot or microwave in the kitchenette and there is no air conditioning in the living area but there are cieling fans. If you leave the bedroom door open it circulates. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a convienience store closer to the main road, a nice 5 minute walk, and a food market down the main road (make a right) a bit. You need bug sray if you sit on the patio, for that matter, for out and about most of Barbados. Free parking just behind your unit and wifi on your patio, pool and restaurant. Lobby, bar and restaurant are open air. As a large family attending a family reunion we had a couple rooms and everything was fine. Needed to ask for claen towels daily. We did enjoy it and will return.

Good budget alt to West Coast resorts
I was in for a friend's wedding in June 2010 (off season) and extended my stay to about a week to explore the island. All Seasons is a nice budget alternative to the expensive West Coast resorts and a short 10-min walk to the public beaches. They provide you with a member card good for discounts to local eateries/shops within walking distance. The front desk staff was very friendly and could answer any question thrown at them (kudos especially to [...] during the daytime).Suites were clean and comfortable. Suites consist of bedroom, living/dining area, and kitchenette furnished with pots/pans/plates. Air conditioning works by key contact card attached to your room key, but in the bedroom only. As much as I tried, fans in living room could not pull in cool bedroom air. Shower pressure was mediocre and no washcloths were provided, just towels. Beds were firm but very comfortable. Off-street parking space is provided behind your unit if you rent a car. Security is basic - sliding glass door secured by a Master Lock. Resort is set within quiet residential neighborhood, so this was fine with me, but if this concerns you, a safe for your valuables is available in the bedroom for a nominal fee per day.All Seasons reminded me a little of Motel 6, but with better furnishings and a kitchenette. An excellent option for the budget traveler / couple that needs only basic accommodations. After all, you're in Barbados, how long will you spend at the hotel with so much to explore on the island?

Highly recommend trying Oistins Fish Fry on the southern coast on a Friday or Saturday night. Need a car or cab to get there. Eat fried/grilled fresh local fish of the day from several vendors and enjoy while listening / dancing to live reggae music. I tried resort restaurants nearby, including Beach House in Holetown, but paid a high price for fish that wasn't local!

Reasonable price for family stay
The hotel was a nice stay for its price. Quiet location, nice area, friendly service, but resort could use a little more updating. Needs a microwave, new refrigerator and better air conditioner.

For a family vacation, the supermarket is a short walking distance, or you could use the shuttle service if you plan on buying lots of grocery to cook.

My Favorite Spot in St James!!!
All Seasons is a pleasant vacation spot for a reasonable price. Beautiful landscape. It's nice for those who want a quiet get away. Children are allowed, but out of the 5 times I've stayed, it's never been a problem. Accommodations include a stove, refrigerator, air conditioning, toaster and a kitchen stocked with dishes. There is however no microwave in the kitchen. There is a TV in the living room area with a few local channels, TNT and either showtime or HBO, but if you are in Barbados, chances are you won't be needing to microwave food or sit in your room and watch TV!! I do love this place. There is also a safe in the room and an outdoor patio with tables and lounge chairs. The bedroom has either two twin beds or 1 king (by king this means the two twin beds are pushed together) but still very comfortable. The sofa in the living room area is also comfortable for a good nights sleep.

Short drive from hotel
There is a restaurant on property, but I didn't dine there. mostly, I utilized the fully stocked kitchen and purchased my own food for cooking. The bar is nice as well as the pool area. There is an internet room, but if you are using wi-fi it will only work if you are sitting on the patio and you need to obtain the password from the front desk. bring plenty of insect repellent if you will be on the patio for an extended time. The area is surrounded by gardens so there will be pests.

Good value for money
The resort is quite basic, but very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It's in a great location on the West coast. The food is very good at the restaurant and reasonably priced. The beach (Sandy Lane Beach), supermarket and restaurants are about 10 min walk but we didn't find this a problem at all, it gets you out and about to see more things. The shuttle is a little limited and we only used it once as we like to go to the beach early in the morning. We usually made breakfast and lunch and had it on the patio and went out for dinner as it can be very expensive and found this worked very well. It's very different from an all inclusive vacation as you get to see a lot of the way of life in Barbados and meet the people that live there, they are very friendly and we felt safe. Overall, I wouldn't pay lots more for fancier hotel as it was great for what we needed and we were able to do more things (hire a car to see the East coast) and we would go back again.

In Holetown, Bon Fire was a really good bar and restaurant, staff are great and the food is delicious. The Mews and Olives are also good. We went to The Tides for one meal which was really exceptional, but very expensive.

Internet should be available in
Internet should be available in all rooms. Because not all rooms are in the same complex, there are some challenges with the provision for internet. As of now, only rooms in the main complex have internet that too on their patio as a wi-fi. It needs to be a basic amenity in rooms even if one has to pay for it. Also, the restaurant service and food quality needs to improve. Receptionists were extremely helpful and were really going out of their way to make one feel comfortable.
