Great value for a week in the sun

Took a room with a street view. Did not matter because we stayed by the pool and beach all day. Good restaurants close by on the boardwalk next to the beach. Will go back.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Restaurant on the board walk, short 5 minute walk called Black Pearl or Opa. Some Greek cuisine but 3/4 of it seafood and standard island fare. Other good restaurants just short distance away.

Ok for the Price, nothing fancy!

Food prices on the Island were very high, the food is low quality for the price you pay. It will cost $100 (USA) for 2 with 1 cocktail & entree only. The beach & sea were great, although the beach doesn't get racked & cleaned, so you find debris on it. The hotel staff wasn't overly friendly, and it could take 10 to 15 minutes to get a drink @ the bar. They don't make the customer a priority.

Average service

No water sports offered on a beautifully contoured beach Had one problem with room not having a conventional electrical output in the bathroom, service desk played phone tag with me for at least 15mins until telling me they had no adaptor available for use.

Very nice, quiet,accommodating,

It was just what we needed. Rest, rest and more rest. The staff was very helpful and acomodating. Excellent location. We took a tour of the island and a little shopping in town. This was one of our best trips and will recommend this hotel. I wish they had a better selection of channels on the TV. I got tired of watching the same news over and over. I would recommend the hotel issue bracelets with the name of the hotel. Many people from the outside use the facilities including the chaise lounges and towels. When you go to the beach in the morning all the chairs are taken

Just right for a quiet get away.

I think the location is fabulous. The beach is great: clean and peaceful. I have never seen such turquoise water. Absolutely beautiful! The rooms are nice size, fairly standard, and clean.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

The hotel location was very convenient to dining establishments outside of the hotel. directly across the street there was a nice open air gril and also a breakfast hops. Down the beach a bit there were snack shops, bistros and bars. Very nice location for a variety of inexpensive food and drink.

Very nice hotel

We were only in Barbados for one day. We hired a cab from the station next to the hotel. The driver took us shopping and on a tour of the island including the North point, Cherry Tree hill, and Bridgetown. If you get a good driver this a good way to see the island and learn some of the history.
