They redeemed themselves!
We arrived late, 10:40 pm, with late confirmation done 3 days ahead by phone. Since our whole stay was paid in advance for an ocean view room, imagine how suprised we were when we arrived and they told us they had overbooked and didn't have any rooms! Needless to say, I was a UPSET! However, they redeemed themselves by placing us in another hotel for the night with all transfers and rum punches on them. We arrived the next day at 10, the agreed upon time, and still no room. At that point, my general good nature was wearing thin. The clerk from the night before had seen how distraught I had been, the night before, and had upgraded our room and view. The staff was very good to work with and came through in the end with wonderful service and accomadations. I would stay there again, call in advance with a confirmation, and share my past experience with them. Overall, they did us right.

Great Hotel!
Stayed one night to catch a connecting flight. Great value for the price. It has a large pool and good beach and a very accomodating staff that cares. I would definitely stay here for a longer vacation.

Great romantic getaway
Wonderful location with great weather. Rooms were very accomadating and clean. It is a non-smoking hotel though(not even on the outside balcony).Other than that it was a very reasonable priced hotel. You can walk from the bar in the pool right to the ocean.Definitely go again. They also have a great place across the street where you can get everything you need cheap.

Great Week.
The beach, Pool, Lagoon Bar Staff, Cleaning Staff, and gym facilities were great. The Hotel is located in a great area that made walking to local restaurants and bars so easy that we only ate at the same place a second time once. We also only ate at the hotel once, the coco patch when we first arrived. Berts, Side Shore, Mojo, Sweet Potatos, and Blakleys all stand out. Our only complaint on the whole week was the fact that the room wasn't ready when we got there so we had to wait to check in and hit the pool, but our crankiness from travel quickly passed as soon as we got into the room and threw the suits on to hit the pool. LOVED IT! Would definitely stay there again. Be sure to hit the Mount Gay Rum Distillery.

don't be scared of the "local Taxi's" best $2 BBD you can spend to move easily from Bridgetown to Oistins, even if you might get someone on your lap for a few min.

Location, location
It's my 2nd year and will be back next year. For the money, you get more than what you pay for. The location itself is worth it and the staff was very helpful. Accra is on the Rockley beach and near everything; nightlife, restaurants, open food court accross the street for a quick bite and a grocery store that has everything you need (including alcohol). The only negative is no wi-fi in the rooms.

buy beer and alcohol accross the street at the grocery store and bring it to the beach instead of getting drinks from the pool (it helps if you have a small packable cooler for ice)

Great Hotel
Just a short taxi ride from the Airport. Location is great, right on the beach and plenty of chairs and umbrellas put out by staff as needed. Boogie boards available at pool for use on beach for free. The beach had nice waves for body-surfing or boogie boarding. The room was very nice, we had were not particular about the view and the cost was very good compared to some of the more expensive resorts. Would definitely go back again.

Great Holiday Getaway
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Accra Hotel this holiday season. The beach was fabulous and the hotel is close to shopping and restaurants. The staff was always helpful and polite. The Chakra spa was not bad either if you are looking for more relaxation. Ohmmm!

Short Family visit
Proximity to beach was paramount - doesn't get any better. Accra Beach (= Rockley) is just gorgeous. Able to sleep with sliding door open and hearing the surf and feeling the breeze! Being familiar with Barbados (maternal family is from there), I thought things were a bit expensive, but for eats we always go across the street into town. Great convenience store in plaza across the road. Eat Roti when you can - Chefette, Roti Hut or Ackee restaurant. Staff mostly helpful, kind, patient with my teenagers who barely got out of the room in time for the housekeeping's last call. Upon arrival, there was free Great cake, plus tote bag and cap with hotel name. MOST IMPORTANT - clean beach and great waves (not as violent as Crane Beach, but surfers seem to like it). Me and the kids? we just get in the water until sunset... but there were a lot of others lying out for a tan or whatever. Nice activities, pools and pool bar
