Cove Experience

The Cove Staff were fabulously warm and attentive. I have never experienced anything like this. I will return within the next 12 months. The food and atmosphere were the absoulte best. I could tell whenever I left the Cove. They truly know how to make their guest feel welcomed & attend to every need. Extremely friendly, clean, and great food. I would not stay at any other place. Pricey on the food and drink.

Another wonderful stay at The Cove

The Cove is a great upscale part of The Atlantis resort. You still get all the benefits of being at Atlantis (the restaurants, access to AquaVenture water park, Mandara Spa) but The Cove itself is off-limits to anyone who is not registered there. That allows for two family pools and one adult-only 18+ pool that are exclusive to the hotel. The location is wonderful and our room had an amazing ocean view. This was our second stay at the Cove and our experience was just as good as the first. We spent 4 days there and enjoyed the water park, treatments at the spa, and ate at most of the nice restaurants. Our only complaint was that housekeeping was not on par with 5-star service (e.g. not replenishing things immediately, leaving a cleaning item behind on one occassion, etc.). Overall it was a wonderful trip and we will definitely be back!

For a wonderful dining experience, make a reservation through the Atlantis restaurant reservations for The Dune restaurant. It is actually at the One and Only Ocean Club, but it is treated as part of the Atlantis Resort and you can get a shuttle to the One and Only from anywhere in Atlantis. You can even bill your meal to your room. The Dune has excellent cuisine and The One and Only is a refreshing adult break from the family-intense atmosphere you find at Atlantis (slightly less intense at The Cove). It's a slice of quiet paradise only a 5 minute ride from The Cove.

The Cove....UGH!!!!

My boyfriend and I traveled to the Cove needing an adult getaway. The room was clean and spacious with a spectacular west facing view. The bathroom had a great shower and large tub with two sinks. We had an iPod connection and two flat screen TVs with Pay-Per-View movies. Although the Cove is separate from the other Atlantis hotels, we still felt like we were on a "cruise" that just didn't float. The crowd looks like a Vegas crowd with lots of bling. The music at the pool was always a techno beat, almost too loud to hear someone speaking to you. Also, music from the Royal Towers drifted over so that you felt like you were listening to two different bands. Even though the rooms are expensive and the restaurants are as expensive as any in NYC or Los Angeles, I felt like charging for cabanas ($1000) and pool "beds" is taking advantage of the clientele. Also, the only way to have lounge chairs on the beach is to rent a cabana....ridiculous. We did enjoy the small gambling area at Sea Scapes and the daily breakfast. I would not return to the Cove. It lacks a sophisticated atmosphere and for the cost, one can find a much more authentic beach experience.

By far the most beautiful setting for a cocktail and intimate dinner is at the Ocean Club. Reservations are a must!

COVE

Great. The room was spacious and with 3 teenage girls that was important. A short distance to the Atlantis pool attractions. The weather was not great - but the hotel could not help that. A great hotel!
