Great solo getaway

I travel to the Bahamas pretty often. This time around I had a really great time. The staff was extremely nice really went out of their way to make me feel welcomed. The housekeeper greeted me every morning and remembered my name. IMPRESSIVE. The check in staff was over the top. Very helpful I enjoyed interacting with the Dolphins that was cool. I can't wait to return.

Great experience

The Central location of the Bahamas with limited other options and boy do they know it. The Bahamas is expensive in general but this place maximises the lack of competition to the last cent. A normal meal for 2 with drink each can easily hit 100 dollars after the mandatory tip and tax. The tip wouldn't be so bad if the staffs customer service matched it but they definitely lack in that department. That said the place is amazing and the natural beauty of the surrounding waters certainly warrant a visit during your lifetime. Just don't forget the credit card.

Wonderful family vacation.

Stayed here for a family vacation. Pools and beaches and aqua adventure were amazing. Very clean resort and all staff were amazing. Room was just average for the money we spent but not in room much anyways. All the aquariums were amazing.....especially the dig.

A very good overall experience

Hotel staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We were a party of 6 adults and 3 children and we all had a great vacation. Only issues with hotel were the opening and closing of restaurants was inconvenient and confusing. It should be easy for them to be posted on the television but was not the case. Also, staff speeding around on service carts on pedestrian walkways seemed hazardous. A All else was fine and fun. Food in Carmine's was very disappointing. Food in chop stix was great.

Enjoyable getaway with family member

The hotel is beautiful and normally has a number of restaurants within to choose from; however due to the time of year there was only 1 restaurant open and it was on the pricey side. I was there to hang out with my family member and for the beach and pools. Their outdoor water facilities are awesome. I got to go to the beach daily which I loved. Casual eating at the pool and around the beach all closed around 5 pm which was disappointing as eating and drinking go along with hanging out in those areas. Thinking that they do that to direct folks back inside to the casino and restaurant there. The Dig exhibit and other marine exhibits were awesome.

Sightseeing tip: In Hotel

Go during their busy season to get the full effect of the Atlantis property if you have never been, as a number of attractions are closed after Labor Day.

Group Reunion

The hotel room itself is mediocre at best, but that is to be expected as it is the more affordable ones at Atlantis. The resort access was fantastic and Atlantis Beach is wonderful! However, the resort food/drinks are a rip off and over priced. Also, there is not a lot of nightlife options. Maybe it was our fault for not doing more research, but this is tailored to families not adults.
