Friendly staff but not close to beach
Leticia Nov 21, 2009
The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly. The service was good. There was only 1 restaurant available and the food ... selection wasnt large. We had to eat out at other places. They provided free breakfast which was nice. The pool was nice and they had a nice bartender at the pool bar who was really friendly. The hotel was far from the beach, we had to go through Atlantis resorts to get to it. Which wasn't all that bad because we enjoyed the amenities of Atlantis. Overall the staff was very nice.

This was a great deal! The rooms were average at best however, they were clean and the staff were very friendly. It is a ... great location (across the street from Atlantis) and you have full signing privilges and access to all of the pools, waterslides, and beaches. Atlantis is VERY EXPENSIVE! $16 martinis, $12 hamburgers, $40 pizza, $5 small bottle of water!!!!! The pool bar at the Comfort Suits is the way to go! The Comfort Suits pool was very dirty, cloudy and overall just appauling but, the drinks strong and tasty and a lot cheaper than Atlantis! The ABC store and grocery store are a short walk away. As far as food goes, you are stuck with the expensive prices unless you choose to leave Paradise Island to eat! We went under the brige to the Conk shacks! It was delicious...the best and cheapest meal we had! We did not go but, we heard the fish fry was very good too! If you enjoy water sports (snorkling, diving, etc...) Stuart's Cove is a must. It's a bit of a drive but definitely worth it. This was my second time diving there...both times were awesome! You will not run out of things to do at Atlantis. The pools are clean, the slides are a blast, and the beaches are so relaxing! It's a great place to visit for a relaxing vacation or if you like to party a little...well it's great for that as well! Overall, it was a great vacation and we would definitely return!

Best vacation ever. The staff were friendly and helpful in giving directions to the Atlantis. The price was very affordable. ... I was able to enjoy more activites while staying at the Comfort Suites. Took advantage of the beautiful beaches, snorkeling, dancing, casino. Finding a place to eat that didnt require reservations was a challenge. The prices were ridiculous and the food was mediocre. Wish we could have stayed longer. So much more to do and explore. Thanks Comfort Suites for allowing me to afford such a vacation

Great Value
Dani Aug 5, 2009
Our stay here was awesome! The location was a plus. You have use to the beautiful Atlantis facilities (which is just across ... the street) and the beach is just a 5-10 minute walk. They have an outdoor pool with a swim up bar. The continental breakfast filled you up enough so you don't have to spend on another pricey meal, as everything there is pretty expensive. Anthony's is a great restaurant thats not too pricey, just across the street. The room was nice and comfortable-no complaints at all. They do have a vacation club/timeshare thing going on which I do recommend sitting through, only because they'll offer you a souvenir (bottle of coconut rum) and a $100 voucher to spend there on the island at a restaurant or a sightseeing tour. For someone who wants to do all the great things at Atlantis for a cheaper price, Comfort Suites is the spot. All in all, great value for your dollar!

Anita Aug 4, 2009
This hotel is overpriced!! It is not that close to the beach either. You have to walk thru Atlantis casino and then outside ... past the lagoon and pool to get to the beach....uuuugghhh. If you want to be "right on the beach" don't stay here. The rooms are just OK. The lighting is terrible...very dim. I would not stay here again. Check-in is supposed to be at 3pm. My room was not ready until 4pm. At $250. per night it should have been ready on time!

The breakfast at comfort suites is included. It consists of juice, coffee, tea, fruit(apples and pears), ceral, toast, bagels and donuts. It was ample and eating area was kept very clean. We tried not to spend a fortune on food but it is very expensive at atlantis. We dined at the marina the first nite. A beautiful area with lots of large yachts. We had a large pizza and drinks and cost was 50.00. We also ate at Murrays deli. THis was very good food with huge portions. One meal is enough for two. My sandwich there was 14.00. WE also dined at Bininki. Not to pricey and great food. All of these restaurants are at the marina area. There is also johnny Rockets and starbucks there. During the day we dined by the pool. I would also recommend Sandra (fergies taxi service). I had booked them before the trip. Our driver was waiting for us at the airport holding a name sign. He stopped at the grocery store and ABC store on the way. No acohol is sold at the grocery store. He was a very nice driver and I would highly recommend her taxi service. He also returned us to the airport. The taxi was a van and fairly new and very clean. Also I would like to say that we went to the straw market at Nassau. Lots of knock off purses thereand other neat things. The straw market is directly next to Senior Frogs. GOod place for drinks and great happy hour. Near our hotel was a shopping area that carried many items as the straw market and was actually cheaper than the market. THis was a great trip and I hope to return soon!

shop at the nearby pharmacy and grocery for any needs as the price's are very high at the Atlantis and their surrounding shops. alcohol included very pricey in the reaort, but there is a liqour store near by
--vacation addict, hudson florida Jun 15, 2009
We liked Murrays deli for b'fast and dinner..busy, clean, friendly, fast service. Anthony's was just OK, but NOT Italian....no BBQ places on the island at all. Take a lot of cash, and dont accept Bahamian cash in change, unless you want it as a souvenir. The Atlantis is fabulous.
--G'ma Woods, Saint Augustine, Fl. Jun 15, 2009
Pools, Beaches, Casinos, Night Life and Bars were all a short walk away to the Atlantis Resort from the Comfort Suites.
--Bridge to Nassau, New Hartford, NY Jun 3, 2009
Pay the cost of an additional bag to the airline and fill it full up to the airline's 50 pound checked bag weight limit before you're charged extra, with bottled soda and bottled water. Canned soda was $2 in the machine at the Comfort Suites and $4 per can at the Atlantis, and bottled water was $3.75 to $4.00 apiece. My daughter kept refilling her water bottle with water from the tap and cooling it in the mini fridge's freezer. Neither of us had any intestinal disturbance from the water or the ice in the hotel or at the local eating establishments, which are also very expensive. Packing your own snacks will also save you some bucks. Asked for ice from the hotel bar one time and the ice tasted like coconut and made our expensive can of soda taste horrible.
