Good time (not great) only because of the bad weather. Rained everyday. Hotel was good, and in a great location. Just walk to Atlantis. Hotel pool good with swim-up bar. Rooms well maintained with newer decor. The staff were upgrading the carpeting, lamps, and some of the front doors of the guest rooms. I had a problem with the hot/cold water in the shower. Shower water started out hot and in an instant turned COLD. Try and get shampoo out of your hair in COLD water. I called the front desk, and they sent a plumber up to the room, who did fix the problem. Check out very easy and speedy. The hotel staff were great. They were curtious and always wanted to help you with what ever you needed. Chrystal at the bar was great. Have her make you a Long Island Ice Tea or fz. mudslide.

Dine at Anthony's (across the street). Prices fair and you get a lot of food, especially the hamburgers. If you want a fun time, there is always Senor Frog's in Nassau, but you may want to take the ferry to taxi there.

It was definitely Paradise
Staff was really nice and helpful. Had a fabulous time at the water park at Atlantis. After the initial sticker shock on food prices we found some great places. A definite is Montagu Gardens - they'll pay for your taxi - the food was amazing - exceptional service. Wish we had found it the first night. The only complaint I could say about the hotel was water pressure was iffy (sometimes hot/sometimes cold), but big deal. Overall a great place.

Weekend at Paradise Islamd
The hotel location cannot be beat! Unfortunately no activity room, indoor pool or room service for the 4 days of rain that we had. We went to Atlantis and saw a movie or two but not much else to do with a 13 tr old with us. Staff very friendly.

Trip to Bahamas
The hotel was clean and well maintained. The location was great, it was right across the street from the Atlantis Resort and I could use the Resort facilities. The staff was very nice but I had a problem with the lock on my door and the safe and it took a long time to get it fixed. The price of the room was high but it may have been that it is a resort area and all hotel prices are high. I did not like that the hotel added an energy sucharge and maid service tip, after quoting a price. Also, I did not like that all the places in the Bahamas automatically add a 15% tip to all food and beverages because the server does not have any incentive. This is not just at Comfort Suites but in all the Bahamas. Overall, I liked the hotel and my trip but it was not my favorite trip.

Paradise trip was wonderful!
The best thing about this CS hotel is that it includes access to all the Atlantis facilities, including charging your meals to your hotel room. This was convenient because we were using the waterslides/pools a lot & didn't have to worry about carrying cash or credit cards with us. The morning breakfast was very good & included eggs, bagels, sausages, waffles, fruit, cereal & yogurt. We enjoyed sitting outside by the pool to eat but you could also eat in a/c area. We would eat a large breakfast, a midday snack at the pool & then dinner out. Food is very expensive on the Island so plan accordingly. Our rooms were recently remodeled and were clean. We had a King bed & pullout couch (for 2 adults & 11 yr. old) which didn't leave us any room to move around. It didn't matter though because we were out all day & most evenings. Water pressure was lousy & 1 morning we had no water to brush teeth or shave. On several days the shower temp. would change from cold to very hot every 5 seconds so it was challenging to get thru a shower. Other than that it's a good deal & a great location, steps away from Atlantis. "Hey Mon ... No Hurry, No Worry" when you visit this island!

Good weather
should have spent the extra money and stayed at the Atlantis
The rooms had terrible lighting and some of the electrical outlets did not work.It took them 3 days to bring us our microwave that we asked for when we checked in.We had to ask for more towels even though they knew there was 4 of us in the room. The lock on the door had to be replaced you could just push the door open.Got charged $2.00 a day to use the safe in the room.

Brown family fun
We would surely stay again at the comfort suites. The staff were always pleasant. Always said good morning and how r u today. Location was the best. Having full access to the Atlantis was a super plus. The breakfast was very good. The rooms were clean and the swim up bar couldn't have been better. I would recommend staying here instead of paying thousands more to stay at the Atlantis

management problems/hotel painted during busiest week
During our spring break with the kids, the first night 4-3-12 we were given a room that was freshly painted and was not habitable to stay in. All the rooms in our section and all the hallways were being painted while the guests were walking around and through the many painters. When we asked to move to another room we were told there were no other rooms available until the next day. Why did this hotel decide to paint their rooms and hallways in the peak season without regard for their guests? When we did get to another room it was very nice. Unfortunately the damage was already done.
