Very good Service It's not free

Service was very good. Keep in mind a gratuity is included in every bill. Restaurants are expensive but good to excellent. Resort was crowded. Cruise ship attendees add to volume.

Atlantis 3-day stay

Overall I enjoyed my 3-day stay at Atlantis Royal Tpwers. The best parts were : cleanliness, safety, family-friendly and kid-friendly resort and amenities. Tons to do for kids and families - all within the resort-pools, aquariums, marine life, dolphins, etc. Downside: it is not all-inclusive & you pay for everything.

Marine life, snorkeling, diving, dolphins-is the best part, completely safe, but you want to book it ahead of time-typically at least 24 hours ahead or more

Great trip

There is no better place in Nassau to stay. Eateries are expensive but if you go in town for lunch or dinner you can find good food for reasonable prices.

Get to airport early for departure. Customs takes a long time on certain days and I witnessed several travelers missing their flights due to long lines at customs.

bubbling toilet in room!

the place was great except for the toilet in the room. it kept bubbbling up every few minutes, could not get any sleep or relax. the buffet can be long if you go at the wrong time, but eventually get there. servers were extremely nice! good place to enjoy the beach and pools from. they did offer a small credit to be fair, but not enough i think.

RoYal Tower

Best Location. Close to everything in Atlantis. Clean. Staff super friendly. Once in a life time experience. It's worth every penny to pay a little more to stay at the Royal Tower. I got the best price for $300/night. Love the hotel. Would definitely going back again.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

Try Anthony's Grill near Harbor village. Good price and Good food. Take a boat ride $8 round trip from Atlantis to Nassau to buy water and drink. They over charge in Atlantis. Almost everything you pay, they already included 15% tips even when you take a taxi from the airport, so please be aware and read your receipt.

Relaxing time

This was our second visit to Paradise Island, and Royal Towers. We enjoyed our stay and would reccommend this resort. We had a minor problem with the room at check in and after a little persistence we were accomdated with a room which better served our needs and price we paid. After that everything was enjoyable. It does need a little re furbishing, it has lost some of its glitter and shine. However, Im sure it takes a beating with the amount of people who pass through. next time we will probably go to The Cove, seems more in line with what we enjoy in a vacation.

Dining tip: In Hotel

All the resturants were good. The service was excellant at casa D'angelo, Chopstix, and Mesa Grill. The best food of these three was Chopstix. having to make reservations so far in advance is a bit much we were told on several occassions that dining options were only available at 5.30 or 9.30. Yet in all of these places it was merely half full at these times?????? Smelled a little of a hotel scam?????

Nice but not worth the $$$$$$$

We stayed in the Royal Towers and found it to be the lower end part of the compound. Staff was not friendly and grounds and rooms were dirty. Staff appears completely unmanaged. At one time we saw 4 staff members just standing and chatting around a bunch of trash. Pools were also very dirty. One morning there was even a cigar sitting at the bottom of the pool. When visiting the Cove section, it was like a different resort... clean, good staff etc. Cost of food was rediculous! Average dinner for 4 ran between $350-$450. Blended drinks were aweful!!! Because they didn't want to run two blenders (one for kids and one for adult drings) they would pour the blended part of the drink in the class then add the alcohol versus actually blending. So you had a pool of licquor sitting around the drink. Had to beg for towles and change of sheets. TV broke twice and toilette clogged twice. Room keys would randomly stop working. All very inconvient distractions. EVERYTHING costs extra!! The Atlantis is simply not work the cost. You DO NOT get what you pay for.

Do not do the meal plan. It ends up costing more as tip and drinks are not included. Also two of the best restaurants are not included and you would basically have to pay double if you go to those restaurants because for the meal plan it is all or none. Also, Mosaic's buffet is the best bargain and great food (gourmet buffet)

Paradise but at a price!

This resort is gorgeous and they have really thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The staff are friendly and very polite. This resort caters to families with children so if you are looking for a romantic getaway for two this is not your choice, although they do have plenty of activities for adults. The Cove seemed to be more adult oriented but is also the most expensive. The resort is huge and very busy. Be prepared for long food lines, long water ride lines, etc. The pool chairs are hard to come by and for a decent spot you have to be up at 7 AM. Restaurant reservations book fast and you might not be able to get your choices. They charge 15% gratuity on everything you buy, even a bottle of water. Be ready to spend some serious cash as the prices are pretty high.
