Wonderful
Very impressive!! The grounds were absolutely beautiful and very enjoyable. We experienced every water slide, enjoyed the beautiful beaches, pools and experienced the dolphin interaction. We enjoyed the Ruin's walk. We also attended Mass and were taken to the Sacred Heart Church in a Limo. It was so relaxing just admiring the decor and beautiful surroundings and fountains. We were all very happy to have chosen the Atlantis Royal Towers in the Bahamas. The climate was absolutely perfect. Sunny with great breeze from the ocean. We have no regrets going to the Bahamas.

The workers there were not very accommodating. [...]. There were othere occassions we they weere quite rude to our friend that traveled with us too. The hotel itself was very nice. We stayed at the Royal tower and it was definitely one of the nicer ones. I would not stay at the other resorts if I went back. It was very conveniently located right at the water parks, pools aquariums, and above the casinos.

so much to do< so many places to explore. Kids mecca, adults paradise. Animal lovers heaven.Best vacation we have had in a long time. We went to waterpark, lounged by the pool, checked out all the marine life.Casino, comedy club was a blast best guy we ve heard doing stand up. Definitely recommend. Only downfall, really hard to get resturant reservations for dinner, no matter which day, or which resturant.

Not what they promise
[...] We stayed from Friday, April 15th to Tuesday, April 19th. [...] special offer was if booked during the right time (we did) and traveled at the right time (we did), it would include breakfast at the resort. When we arrived, the front desk claimed that since ONE day of our travel fell on a black out date, the offer did not apply to us. So if we had stayed one day less, we would have had free breakfast each day. That is a big deal at this resort since breakfast is $28.00 dollars per person. [...] And yes, I had the breakfast offer in writing and showed it to the hotel. They just shrugged and said it didn't apply to us.

Short walk from hotel
The is a food market near the marina where you can buy sodas and water. Saves a lot when the hotel changes $3.50 for a bottle of water and $4.00 for a fountain soda.

Atlantis, Paradise Island - Royal Towers
My wife and I took the kids (boy-12, and girl-10) to Atlantis for Spring Break, March 14th - 19th. [...] No question, this is an expensive trip anyway you slice it -- but well worth it. The staff at the Atlantis could not have been more friendly or helpful, from the doormen to the life guards at the pools. Everyone had a big smile or their face and was ready and willing to bend over backwards to give us that extra 'special' service. For example, everyday at one of the pools, we asked a pool attendant (there are several) to save us 4 lounge chairs for the next morning. We left them a few magazines, football, etc. on the chair when we left at the end of every day. The next morning, our chairs were ready (where we asked them to be), with our stuff on top with towels folded and ready to go. We thought about purchasing the 'meal plan' but decided against it. In retrospect, we made the right choice. The meal plans only cover breakfast and dinner. We ended up eating things like cereal, pastries, etc. for breakfast and for dinner, the kids ate pizza, pasta, etc. from several of the restaurants. My wife and I ate at the steakhouse ($150 including drinks), and Nobu ($180 including drinks) - so the plan wouldn't really have been that helpful or cost-saving. The kids went to Club Rush a few nights, which gave my wife and I several hours to go out on the town. The club opens at 7 pm and closes at 11:30 pm. After the first night, the kids walked themselves home to our hotel room without a problem. We felt very comfortable about the safety of the Atlantis property. The water slides were a big hit for all of us. The kids pretty much left us in the morning to go on the slides, lazy river, etc. My wife and I stayed at one or two of the pools, and the kids checked in with us from time to time. I loved the fact that you never had to carry cash/credit cards with us. Rather, all you need is your room key - which works in all of the shops and restaurants (except a few shops in the Marina Village). We will definitely be going back to the Atlantis. As far as which tower to stay in, I was very happy with our choice at the Royal Towers. It was close to everything and we never had to get transportation to go to the other side of the enormous property. Everything is in walking distance.I give this place a 4.9 out of 5 stars.

There are two meal plans: $50pp and $95pp. This covers breakfast and dinner only. Since my little girl is only 10, she would eat free if we had purchased the meal plan. So, for 6 days and 3 adults, we would have spent between $150 - $300 per day for our breakfast and dinner. We spent most of our food/drink money out at the pool - where we ate lunch and had lots of drinks (neither of which is covered by the meal plans). Looking back, we saved a several hundred bucks by NOT buying the meal plan.

Beautiful Resort-price gouging on food!
The resort was beautiful, food quality was very good. However, price of food was outrageous! $7/for a hotdog--really is that necessary? Meal plan is a must--breakfast and dinner buffets at the Marketplace was very good and all you can eat; so fill up at breakfast and you can skip the outrageous lunch food prices. Service was great; shopping was also top notch, resort wasn't too crowded; lots of pools to choose from; Spa was wonderful. Fitness center was nice--however, they charge the guests to use it--ridiculous! Dolphin activities a must to do! Great experience; however, price gouging at picure time! Found the influx of people from Cruise Ships on day trips to Atlantis a bit annoying; they would make the beaches a bit too crowded and caused much longer lines for water park activities. Overall I would definitely bring my family there and would definitely pack snacks next time--worth the extra baggage charge--Trust me!
