Okay...

My boyfriend and I took a 9 day vacation to the Bahamas. The room wasn't anything special (which you hope that it is for the price that you pay). The service isn't great but the water slides are fun. If you don't like kids but want to experience everything that Atlantis offers, stay at another hotel on Paradise Island. Atlantis gives full access to outside hotels on the Island.

My review of Atlantis, Paradise Island - Royal Towers

I found the Royal Towers at Atlantis beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The village was nice as well. My daughter and I really enjoyed the pools, beach and activities offered. Although some were very expensive and not quite worth the money. What I wasn't too crazy about was the food at the hotel and village. I found it a very expensive. There should have been a few restaurants outside of Atlantis within walking distance. Anywhere you wanted to go you had to take a taxi. And that can become very expensive. All in all, I would definitely recommend the Atlantis hotel because of its breathtaking scenery, and friendly staff.

My review of Atlantis, Paradise Island - Royal Towers

Fabulous property with all amenities. The new and expanded pool area includes a lazy river with rapids and slides where we literally spent hours each day. There is so much to see and do. You never have to leave the property.

Family friendly, but pricey

We stayed at Atlantis, Royal Towers. The hotel/grounds are amazing. The kids had a great time (as did we). There was something for everyone to do all the time. 4 days are not enough. Be careful though. Everything is EXPENSIVE and nothing is free. Take plenty of snacks and beach toys. Otherwise you'll pay.

family friendly

The Royal Towers at Atlantis was extremely beautiful on the outside the pool area was outstanding and the occomadies such as the aquarium, waterslides and so on. However, inside our room was nothing more than just an average hotel and we were placed at the very bottom floor with a view of the driveway. I wish there was more options of food including some local food. The beaches were breath takingly georgious. The entire island was very expencive.

Family Friendly Resort

There were 10 of us ages 2 to 62 and something for everyone! I would definitely recommend for all ages! Water, water everywhere; slides, splash pools, kid play pools, wading pools, lagoon and of course the beach! Buffets offer everything and all of the food is very very good equal to the service! The restaurants have superior service and large portions too! My kids loved club rush the best! The rooms are large and the bathroom is huge! Mini Balconeys in the Royal Towers were especially great to watch the sunset (or sunrise). An empty mini fridge would have been nice! Everyone seems to go out of their way to be extra nice! Will go again and again!

Taxi or ferry to Nassau. Many, many shops but liked the ones down the side streets with lots of bargains. Straw market okay for hand made straw items and purse knock offs but MUST haggle!

Atlantis Royal Towers

My husband and I stayed at the Atlantis Royal Towers. The hotel was wonderful it was more then I had ever inticipated. The staff were extremely friendly. I would recommend this hotel to everyone from a family vacation to a honeymoon. The rooms were large and had an excellent view. All in all the resort was a little pricy but well worth every penny.

There were many shopping areas in and around the hotel. There were upscale stores like Cartier, Gucci, and Vercace. There were also little boutiques for the vacationers to purchase trinkets and memorabilia from the Atlantis Resort.

Great Experience....

We were a little aprehensive about our decision to stay at the Atlantis. Upon arrival, we were gracioulsy upgraded to an ocean-view room. This place is amazing, but definitely not for the budget-minded traveler. This is not a place to go if you are trying to skimp by, but if you are going on vacation to enjoy yourself and relax at an amazing resort this is the place. My wife and I have 4 children and we did not bring them along this time. We read some of the horror stories of over-crowding and kids everywhere and we found it to be the exact opposite. I mean it was busy, but never over-the-top, and we were able to get into every restaurant with a minimal wait. We think that the kids would have had a great time. The food is crazy expensive, but we brought some snacks in our suitcase and it made it much more bearable. I think the meal plan is a great idea and should be strongly considered, especially if you are bringing children. The resort is its own city and everything you need is right there. We stayed at the Royal Towers and found it be great, but if we go back again without the kids, then the Cove looks awesome and very modern and much more quiet and secluded (it has an outdoor casino next to the pool, how cool is that!

Everything At the Resort

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Atlantis Royal Towers. Everything was within a reasonable distance and lovely to see. There was actually no need to leave the resort. The room with a king-sized bed, dining table, smaller table, and chest was large enough to feel very relaxed. Clothes and suitcases were out of sight in the roomy closet. The water closet in the bathroom was separate from the shower and vanity area, providing a little more privacy. The view of the harbor and Paradise Island bridge offered beauty and serenity. Helpful employees were very willing to answer any questions. Amenities, such as a library with computer access, free movies, and a multitude of restaurants were readily available throughout the resort. Lush foliage and lagoons provided a tranquil atmosphere. All in all it was a very relaxing vacation with enough options to make the week fly by.
