The most friendly Island ever

This hotel was more magnificent than any I've ever seen. It took several days to see it all. There were aquariums at every turn. This place put the theme hotels in Vegas to shame. Everywhere you go someone will ask you if your having a good time, or if you are enjoying your visit. The cost of food is about the only drawback. It is expensive,so it is a good idea to take advantage of meal packages. In fact take advantage of any internet offering you may be interested in. Swimming with the dolphins was a lot cheeper if you get it ahead of time. Go to Atlantis. It's a good time for any age.

Beautiful Hotel...crazy dining

This is an amazing property. The initial room that they gave us was moldy and had a view of the dumpsters and roof. We were able to upgrade to a much nicer room after we went back downstairs to voice our concern. The amenities are great.. The dining is outrageous..extremely expensive (buffet for 2 is $115!!) Chose a meal plan if possible...also if you are looking for a quiet get-a-way do not chose this resort...1000's of screaming children, definitely not a romantic spot!

Expensive and worth it!

If you're going to the Bahamas, especially your first time, you have to do it right and stay at the Atlantis. Goregous pools, fun slides, the beach, expansive marine habitat, beautiful dolphins, jetskiing, and coral reef snorkeling, are all available and what vacationing on an island in the Caribbean are all about.

family friendly

We stayed at the Atlantis/ Royal Towers..The room was spacious, clean and had a view of the lazy river ride...The staff was very helpful. The bathroom was separate from the sink and shower-so 1 person can shower while the other one can use the sink or toilet....It was a long walk to the dining areas..The restaurants are very good but expensive even using the meal plan...The buffets are ok- a little too crowded with kids but perhaps tht's because it was the summer when school is out...The pools and water rides are great as well as the man-made beach...There is not much of a night life..This is a resort that caters to people who love the ocean and water. The aquarium is fantastic. The grounds are well-kept and lovely to walk around.

Great vacation getaway for family

Stayed at Atlantis for 8 days with family. Myself, my husband and two children 17 and 13. Had a wonderful time--stayed in Royal Towers. Next time, probably would stay about 5 days. Tryed to get an ocean view room, but they told me not available. Had a room with a harbour view which was still very nice. Cove beach is absolutely beautiful--clear waters and beautiful surroundings. Food was good--very expensive. Would not do the meal plan. Eat a sensible breakfast and maybe splurge for dinner. Would recommend a few restaurants outside resort. Went to Cplumbus Tavern Restaurant across the bridge from Atlantis--very good food. Try the conch chowder. Also went to Greycliff for dinner. Very expensive but absolutely delightful. If you want to splurge you must go there and see this beautiful hotel.

Seafire Steakhouse at Atlantis has the best conch chowder. Also, the casino is a wonderful night spot. The kids can go see a movie at the theatre. Try Bobby Flay's Restaurant--littly pricey but excellent food.

My review of Atlantis, Paradise Island - Royal Towers

Atlantis was great. We had such a good time we ended up staying an extra day. the spa service was very good, the beach was steps from the hotel. if there on a romanic get away def visit the adult pool in the Cove tower. The Bahamien Club in the corral tower and the mesa grill in the cove tower are DELICIOUS! But they are expensive. The only negative is the pool shuts down at 7pm. Way too early. Its still daylight and hot out at 7pm. They need to at least extend that till 9pm or so.

family friendly, very expensive

The Atlantis Resort at Paradise Island was a spectacular resort. The amenities were plentiful and the room was always clean. The gratuity charge that was added to every purchase was however, a bit excessive and ridculous. Especially nice was the convienence of an endless supply of pool and beach towels. The resort area felt very safe at all times of the day and night with plenty of hotel staff on hand for any assistance.
