Atlantis Poor Service Poor Value

I made my reservation thru this travel site and was charged for three people but at checkin the hotel insisted I had to pay again for my teenage daughter who was already on the reservation . Waited 20 minutes to get a bar order taken at one of the bars/lounge. The bar was not crowded but the staff just kept joking with each other. In room internet is slow (feels like old dial up modem) and overpriced per day. Housekeeping didn't clean room at all one day. At $700 per night for the room they should not charge an additional $15/day to use the fitness center. Most employees don't even greet or speak to you when you walk up to a counter for a towel, drink or information. The location and facility are great but even in New York City you will not feel nickled and dimed to death and then also treated poorly. Casino cashier had only one teller lane open and the casino was completely packed. It took 15 minutes to cash out my winnings, presumably to make me get frustrated and go back to the tables. I would recommend you go to a public aquarium and visit Cancun

Instead of buying food from the local restaurant within the hotels, you could walk to Marina Village (10 mts).

Truly "Paradise" Island

The location and amenities were perfect. What can be improved - Wifi did not work; for the price Wifi should be complimentary. It would have been nice to have at least gotten complimentary water. This would be 100% perfect with Wifi, all-inclusive, and an amusement park.

Atlantis - Bahamas

We stayed in the Royal Towers which is a centrally located area of the resort. The resort is opulence and beauty at its finest. Salt water Aquariums surround the hotel at every angle and marine wildlife and care can be viewed easily at anytime of the day. There is something for everyone at this resort from rock climbing to snorkeling to just window shopping at the nearby marina.....everything within walking distance. No rental car is needed. The staff was all very polite, friendly and helpful. The only criticism I have is that everything is very expensive; some of the activities I thought should have been complimentary, especially in consideration of the cost.

great long weekend for two

Our stay at the royal towers overall was a wonderful experience! The staff were super friendly and willing to provide any assistance necessary. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. My only complaint was that it was hard to find bottled water or filtered water to.drink. the store in the hotel only had gatorade or snapple type drinks. I would definitely go again!

Wonderful, but alittle pricy on the food

We stayed in the Royal Towers and had a wonderful time. The water park was beyond my expectations and the kids loved it. The food prices were generally over the top, but this was somewhat expected since we'd been warned by friends.
