Left the snow for the beach
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Upgraded to Coral Tower. Room was clean but the balcony needs cleaning and painting. Food was good but expensive. However, Atlantis does offer a meal plan which helps. I enjoyed complimentary movies and tours. I went to the library and the casino. Of course, the beach. The trip was great.

More expensive than Hawaii.
Stayed for ten days with my wife. Amazing pool was the best part. Bahamas was pretty rough. I did not feel comfortable in town. Would not bring my kids. This hotel is actually 5 different hotels. Dont recomend the beach towers. It was formerly known as the Paradise Beach Hotel which competed with the Britannia Beach Hotel (now the coral towers). The lobby was nice but the second you get off the elevators it is nasty. Old AC system barely worked. Old matresses. Moldy bathroom. Expect only really overpriced food options. Awful food too. Even bringing my own drinks to the pool everyday and eating breakfast and lunch outside of the hotel it was $400 per day for a couple. If you wanted to stay in a nice room it would be at least $600 per day for a couple. Dont overlook the room fees and tax and the gratuity included on carry out.

beach tower ghost town
arrived on nov. 3 we where dropped off at the coral tower to check in. had to carry our own luggage to the bach tower which is a distance carrying your own luggage. the lobby of the beach tower was deserted. asked the next day why it was like a ghost town and they said it was their slow season. went to the pool only about 10 people there. no waitress service the grounds were neglected and there was no service at that area. the bathroom by the pool was digusting, the pool had candy wrappers floating in it and the lazy river had a paper cup floating around it for 2 days. left that area and went to the others pools. day of checkout i spoke with the girl and asked if i could see the manager as i did not enjoy the accomadations at the beach tower. she made me wait 15 minutes and after i told her that we where not happy with the beach tower she told me that i had the lowest end of atlantis. if that is ther slow time why don't they tell people this when they book and give them other options. she took $100.00 off our room charge but that was only after i told her i would nver come back. this was our 2nd trip ther. i was ther when it was just the coral and beach tower and i enjoyed every aspect of my vacation. you walk over to the other sections of the resort and it's a totally different world.wiil never go back again. food was the best part of the vacation.

Atlantis Beach Tower
Booked my deal. Went to Paridise Isand for a piece of paridise. What I got was a room on the third floor in the Beach Tower that overlooked the convension center roof....absolutely no view....boreing. I asked the manager to switch rooms but he said "All rooms are booked" so there's no room to switch too. But I called the reservation desk, and faked it...there was plenty of rooms. There are good rooms with a view on the one side of the Beach Tower but if your not smart by experience, you wont get one of them. The sad part was the room wasn't cheap...

Atlantis "Beach Tower"
Booked a last minute trip over to Atlantis. My girlfriend and I both work in the hospitality industry. We very rarely get a few days off together. We were very excited to visit Atlantis for the first time. We were given a room in the "beach tower".. Front desk staff were very overwhelmed with the massive check in. They were not helpful as we had to carry our own bags to our room. We had a third floor room which had a view of dumpsters and a rooftop. The balcony had bird fesis on it. Room very musty. Requested a room change and were granted a 7th floor room. Entire tower was full of kids on some type of convention. Screaming and yelling all weekend long. Service standards at the pool were aweful. I do not plan to go back or reccomend this to any of my friends. I was also charged for some f&b items that we did not purchase.. Could not wait to get home. Very disappointe , i always book my trips here and honestly will look to other websites if something isn't done.

Food, crowded
The food it's expensive, and it was packed on July 4th. It's hard to find a beach chair, you just have to be there early to find one. Otherwise, it's worth of money. The hotel, pool, water slides and the beach are well maintained. The beach tower is not that far from all the activities, it's only 10 mins walk. The hotel is very kids friendly.
