Very family friendly
We had a great time at Wyndham Crsytal Resort at Cable Beach Nassau. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday. The swimming pool was wonderful.

great vacation
we had a great stay at the wyndham nassau resort in the bahamas. our room was big , comfortable, and very clean. the staff was friendly and helpfull. everything you need is right there: the beach, the pool, a casino, restaraunts, and bars. you can also use all the ammenities of the sheriton nextdoor you can catch a bus downtown for a dollar. i was very pleased.

Vacation Spot
Overall, we were pleased with our stay here. The rooms were very nice and the location was pretty central to where we wanted to go. Food is very expensive and I don;t like being overcharged to use the internet. The staff are somewhat unpleasant...they could use a course in being pleasant to the guests....hard to get a thank you or a smile out of anyone...the nicest person to us was the girl on the front desk who gave us a room with a balcony....which made all the difference in the world...so nice to sit out there at night and overlook the ocean...

Had supper at the fish fry...prices good and meals delicious....so easy to take the number 10 bus for a dollar everywhere....also loved the pizza in the casino..

Very family friendly, wonderful enviroment
Wonderful hotel, the room was very comfortable nice and roomy. The space in the bathroom was adequate for two to move around freely as well as in the vanity area. I had only one complaint, the maid would always miss putting the appropriate towels and miss the liner for our garbage can. No questions, once you call the desk there would be a knock on your door with whatever you asked for.The gym was terrific, all the equipment need to loose weight after eating at all the delicious restuarants in the hotel. I enjoy the worldpool after excerising. The location was awesome, the bus was a $1 to go to the city where you find everything.I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We really enjoyed the Windham in Nassau. I had been there years ago on a cruise when we picked up the Casino show as an excursion. The hotel and pool area were wonderful. I would go back there again. The hotel staff is very courteous and I would recommend this hotel, and already have to other friends.

very nice
We enjoyed the hotel and the convience to local bus service as well as the casino. The room was comfortable. There was a large empty space that could have been used for a table or desk that would have been a good addition. The bathroom was separte from the vanity area..which we liked. There restaurants that were reasonable in price. The staff was very friendly.

Comfortable,relaxing
The Wyndham was comfortable and relaxing. It was close to the beach and the pool was easy to get to. The room was a good size. On the second day we were out all day and came back and the room was not clean. We had to call to have the room cleaned. Otherwise the Hotel was experience was great.

Great Staff
While the room was large with a pool/ocean view, separate dressing room, it was average with rooms in such US cities as Orlando, FL.and the price per night was average with US cities for much nicer rooms. Expect to pay maid fees and gratuity in addition to room cost per day. Renovations are going on but didn't affect my stay. Hotel staff is very friendly, service is excellent. Food is expensive at this hotel. Drive from airport takes about 15 minutes, reasonable cost of cab $17.I will return!!!

A Great Granny Vacation
I accomplished the perfect grandmother's vacation on my trip to the Wyndham, Nassau. My daughter, husband, and 7-year-old grandson accompanied me on our trip this past August. During the day, I played in the casino, while they played in the pool, beach, and nearby water activities. In the evenings, I stayed with my grandson in the hotel, while my daughter and her husband dined and played in the casino. I accompanied them on one day, but the time I spent in the hotel (especially the Sweet Sundae Cafe) was perfect for me to get to visit and spend time with my grandson. We all had a great experience.

Overall, a nice hotel, but it seemed like the Wyndham couldn't decide who they wanted to cater to. Great view, location, comfortable room (with nice balcony), and ammenities. There were families with kids, lot's of wasted spring breakers, adults there for the casino... a little crazy. My friend is a vegetarian and there was a piece of fatty bacon in her vegetarian food - staff made her wait for about 20 minutes before giving her a refund (she had only asked to have a bagel instead). Probably would have been a better experience at a different time of year.

For inexpensive local food; head to the close Fish Fry district. Take the bus for $1 during the day or a taxi at night (single women may be wary of this area after dark). Downtown and Atlantis are also short cab rides away. Also, walk across the street to the Daquiri Shack! Fresh fruit and cheaper than hotel!
